14/30 •Splash and Play Pool• . Bismillaahirrahmaanirrahiim… Sebelum memulai cerita, aku mau tanya nih! Pernah gak ada yang trauma karena sebuah kejadian, lalu dikaitkan dengan sebuah benda? Kemudian jadi fobia, takut, benci bahkan menghindari benda tersebut. . Aku pernah, fobia terhadap kolam renang mini buat anak-anak. Saat bayi, Althaf sering sekali main air di kolam seperti di gambar ini. Ia bermain di teras rumah kami, bahkan dibawa serta kalau pergi ke rumah kakek nenek. Modelnya lucu, ada bentuk pohon, ular raksasa, dan kupu-kupu. . Hingga ketika usia sekitar 10 bulan. Ia bermain air bersama temannya di kolam ini. Namun, keesokan harinya langsung demam tinggi dan muncul bintil-bintil berair di sekitar tangan, kaki, dan mulut. Alih-alih mendapat kesenangan melihat anak yang ceria, aku malah tersayat hatinya. . Althaf terkena flu singapura atau dikenal juga sebagai Penyakit Kaki, Tangan, dan Mulut (Hand Foot and Mouth Disease). Kebetulan temannya sedang masa penyembuhan dan aku tak mengetahuinya. Mungkin saja virus menular melalui air kolam yang tercemar dari air liur, cairan luka, bersin, atau sentuhan fisik lainnya saat mereka bermain bersama. . Sementara saat itu Althaf masih berjalan dengan cara merangkak, seringkali bintil-bintil tersebut pecah dan meninggalkan luka terutama di lutut. Wah, sedih rasanya, apalagi nafsu makan juga menurun karena mulut jadi tak nyaman. Asi pun sedikit sekali yang masuk. Tak ada yang bisa dilakukan selain menambahkan banyak cairan dan menunggu hilang dengan sendirinya. . Sejak saat itu, aku membenci kolam renang mini yang kami miliki. Masih selalu terbayang penderitaan Althaf selama 2 minggu setelah itu. Sehingga kolam tak pernah lagi aku gunakan, kusimpan bertahun-tahun dalam gudang. Penyesalan tak henti terhadap kejadian yang menimpa anakku tersayang. .
