This little rifle has grown on me, I fell in love with it all over again this week. The #MDR is short, it goes in and out of vehicles with ease. I couldn’t be prouder of this kid! He sealed the deal last night just before dusk. This little buck wandered out into a clearing on the ridge above us. With fading light, we went from glassing to shooting in about 45 seconds. Junior put his rifle over the top of my pack to get the very steep uphill angle, my cousin and were both spotting through glass, and right on command, #coldboremiraclejunior fired a shot, and hit the buck. He stumbled around, but didn’t go down. So he reloaded and sent another helping of wrath up the hill, dropping the buck at 325 yards.
