it was nights like these that nate was happy to have help. putting his daughter to bed was always somewhat of an event, for lack of a better word. despite only being together for a couple of months there was no way that he could ever leave them. even if he wanted to which neither one of them did want to in the first place due in fact that through the course that short span of time dating each other they had slowly , but surely gotten obsessed over one another that there was no one in this world that could and would have them no matter what that no matter how toxic or abusive their relationship might have been both past and present they were never in a million years ever leave each other why even would they ? especially knowing that they were all that they needed in this life as they could easily cut off contact with friends and family without a single notice and be with each other. well it was while they were at a party for a mutual friend of theirs that the dark side of their relationship did finally come into light plain for everyone to see as they had made their way through the party greeting the people that they knew as they did with ares only really staying by the sidelines keeping his clear distance from everyone knowing how they were so possessive of each other especially in social situations like this only giving the occasional nod here & there to other people in order not to provoke those jealous tendencies of each others now ! well with that being said though they didn't heed their own advice it seems as from the corner of his eyes he notice them standing and talking to someone a little too close for his liking instantly seeing red as he pushed his way through the crowd before reaching his intended target grabbing them by collar of their shirt roughly baring his fangs “ just what do you think you're doing with what's mine buddy ? ”

he'd never been the social person out there even from when he was very young he would often choose to keep to himself and maintain a small group of very close friends especially after the incident. he had always been a closed off person but not to the point where he was being downright rude and standoffish towards the people around as he'd always come off as very shy instead especially after that very day that would more often than not keep replaying within his mind over & over again it had only lead him to become much more reclusive than before and retreating into his small group of friends whenever he was feeling sad or lonely which if he were to be honest had been happening to him increasingly especially after he'd left behind his small town and enroll into college all by himself in the bigger cities but he'd often choose to hide those types of feelings away often stating that he'd be ok eventually that he would just need some time alone. it was during one of those nights where he and their small group of friends were hanging out at one of their dorms for the night which for the most part had remained very peaceful and cozy as they had opted to snuggle together in blankets and watch a couple of movies on tv which was something they all desperately needed at this time with the chaos of college life sinking into themselves during their first week of being here at college they just need sometime together to relax and unwind and up until this very point everything seemed to go according to their plans as they began to settle into the movie they had chosen to watch first that night laying over the blanket across himself as he began to get cozy underneath the covers moving closer to them making sure that they still had enough room to move around on their end but he still wanted to make himself comfortable too that was until he got this faint smell of something very sweet , something very irresistible to him he almost felt like he was going crazy maybe even feral when he first smelt it he just thought that maybe ? it was just perfume but the more and more he got closer to them the stronger it got almost to the point he was salivating over it which would be odd behavior coming from him as he was not that close with them out of their friend group but he still was very friendly with them at this point no matter how many times he tried to ignore that overpowering intoxicating smell he could not ignore it any longer giving them a gentle tap on the shoulder before asking in a hushed voice as to not disturb the others watching the movie. “ hey ! i hate to bother you during the movie but can we please talk in the other room it's urgent. ”

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━  Ayato had been sitting outside of the Kamisato estate enjoying the quiet of the night, listening to the pitter patter of the rain on the rooftop, his go-to drink sitting on the table as he leaned forward onto his elbows. Ever since he had become commissioner he never really go to live his life the way he wanted and despite having grown up quite a bit, he did still have a childish side to him.

After a moment, he stood up, leaving his boba tea behind as he walked out into the rain, not even bothering about his clothes or even the possibility of getting sick. It was peaceful. He enjoyed the calming sound of each drop of rain hitting the roof, that after rain smell once it lets up, and the way water droplets cling to whatever surface they can. Ayato loved the rainy season so much and he honestly never really got to enjoy it much.

A sigh fell from his lips, running a hand through his now wet hair as he made his way over to the edge of their property, looking towards Tenshukaki in the distance.
