Hey cos I saw you on some Rita/Zedd posts. Have you read #109 of the series? Rita and Zedd’s clash has some interesting tidbits that shine more light on their relationship.

Oh, yes, I saw the comic just recently. I did appreciate the little tidbits of at least the implication of Zedd and Rita flirting...but, as per usual, it is STILL so toxic.

Real talk, I only found enjoyment in the smaller moments this issue:

Stone Canyon boys coming to protect their girl.

Grace going back for Terona, like a good little Red.

Matt getting out, but not without YET ANOTHER helping of trauma to add to his untreated PTSD.

Billy and Tommy battle bros. Haven't seen them since pre-Shattered Grid.

All of the effort going into making it clear that Zack's gonna be the dad friend going forward. Let him adopt all of the aliens from now on.

World’s Finest - Played a little catch up with this title. Love this book. Hope Waid has the energy in him for more and more here. And Mora, too. It would be very dumb of me to not also say how much Mora sells this book. But I do think Waid is the driving force in a way. Anyway - great book.

Captain Britain - I think I would’ve liked this book better if I was more of a long-term Excalibur/Brian Braddock guy. Gave it shot, glad it has WLW in it, but not for me.

Catwoman - Dropping this after Knight Terrors. I didn’t think the recent run was horrible.

Cyborg - The issue’s cover spoils the reveal. Victor and father stuff - hope it works this time.

MMPR - Why is Matt still here!? What a waste of time! Just a hole this series let’s it fall into every month. Unnecessary and unneeded! Do better!

Superman - Williamson is fine, but Campbell sells this book for me.

Wonder Woman - The Cloonan/Conrad comes to the end. I’m gonna miss it a bit. Will not continue with the King run because I am not that much of a masochist. Hope by the next anniversary issue Diana will be in a better place.

Godzilla: Here There Be Dragons - Pirates and Godzilla sound fun. Really, the only thing I was relenting on is that Tieri is the writer. He’s very hit-or-miss.

How much do y’all think Wednesday Warriors are driving potential comic book customers away from store? I outta deck the one guy who was raving about Marvel movies today. What a pitiful man.
