#WaybackWednesday: Happy “Wayback Wednesday” & Happy Birthday in heaven to John Lennon of “The Beatles”!! Thank you for all the good music that you left us to listen to on earth and for spreading peace, love, and happiness wherever you went! I stopped at “Strawberry Fields” in NYC’s Central Park last Monday after checking out “Play It Loud” At the Metropolitan Museum Of Art to pay homage to John Lennon. #HappyOctober & #TransformationTuesday: Happy October 1 & ‘Transformation Tuesday’!! Today was the closing of one of the coolest music exhibitions that I have seen at a museum; “Play It Loud: Instruments Of Rock and Roll”, previously on view at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in NYC, NY!! I closed out September yesterday by checking out this exhibit with a friend of mine and to see it in person was amazing!! There were all kinds of musical instruments, costume designs, and music videos that were on view from many Rock & Roll acts as Jerry Lee Lewis, Bo Diddley, “The Beatles”, “The Rolling Stones”, Eric Clapton, Lady Gaga, “Led Zeppelin”, and many, many more artists who changed music! This was the first time that the museum had an exhibit that featured these instruments that have shaped rock & roll!! This exhibit was a must see on my list of musically themed shows to view in person! And, it was the first time in 9 years that I had returned to this museum since Fall 2010 in college (8 years since my last NYC visit)!! Thank you again to my friend, @timjeavons for going to NYC to check out this show & check out the sights & sounds of the “Big Apple”!! Whether you enjoy music or are a musician, this was the show to witness this year!! Thank you @metmuseum and the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame for bringing this show to your museum!! Happy Tuesday!
