The Title is Everything
A title tells the reader, viewer, or listener what they will encounter, but it is also the first line of marketing. “Shogun” is bold, simple, mysterious, and telling. It begs a reader to open the book. “Star Wars” is overwhelming, scientific, and poignant. Perhaps the best movie title. “Thriller” is sexy, scary, and intelligent. It may be the best song title of all time.
Sometimes, the title is the only thing going for a book. Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey are astounding titles hiding awful works. The Road is a splendid book with a mediocre title. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance is the perfect title for the perfect book.
How do I come up with my book titles? My first step is to list the appropriate words. For example, I would research nautical and water terms if the book is about a ship. A thesaurus is helpful in this area. Next, I will list action, related, and exciting words. Now, I spend a few days connecting them and brainstorming. Remember, there are no wrong answers at this stage. A fantastic resource with existing book titles and title generators like:
I stop when I have approximately 100 titles because any more would be redundant. I made preliminary titles for my first book, Interviewing Immortality, about a 500-year-old woman (Grace) who forces a disgraced author to interview her.
Surviving Grace Finding Grace Saving Grace Stepping Towards Immortality Grace the Immortal Interviewing an Immortal Experiencing Immortality Gruesome Grace Guts and Grace Recording the Harvest Selected Selected for Harvest You Will Do Gracefully Immortal
A Graceful Interview A Step Towards Immortality (obscure song with this title) A Grave Misfortune Deadly Biography The Author and the Immortal The Forever Interview Authoring Immortality The Immortal Grace Forever Grace (book with this title) Biography of an Immortal (book and article with this title) Learning to be Immortal A Step Toward Immortality How to Interview an Immortal (I liked the movie How to Train Your Dragon)
The next step is to search the titles for existing works. (You can see the results on my above list.) I eliminate it if I find another work with that exact title or a near miss. Note: A book titled, “Interviewing for Immortality” came out after I published.
Next, I put all my titles into Excel in a single column. (Alright, truth. I am such a geek that I started my crazy process in Excel, but I wanted to sound cool by using the word “list.”) Then, I add two more columns with follow-on titles in the same theme. Why am I thinking about future junk? How about “The Last Dance.” How can you follow that? “The Last Dance Two” “The Last-Last Dance” “Last Dance the Next Generation” Lame.
Locating titles of other works and doing the future title process limits the choices to around ten. We must pick one (and the following books in the series).
Remember during the decision process that the title is the most essential advertising tool. This means it should be bold, exciting, sexy, daunting, and, most of all, intriguing. Should it contain a bit of humor or a pun? Perhaps. Should it be misspelled? “The Wrekked Ship.” Should it be tropical to gain maximum buzz? “The Weakest Link in Dieting” Errrr, I would avoid those two practices.
When I am convinced I have enough strong titles, I rank them as Low, Med, or High. Of course, you can use a scale of 1-5, A-F, or Yes/No. I also share my titles with friends and ask for feedback. As I am narrowing down my list, I sometimes (out of earshot) verbally criticize the title. I find some exciting inspiration there. Ultimately, the title I settle on is the least objectionable.
Why don’t I try to fall in love with a title? Love is an emotional response, and the love for the title will come later. My process is to treat the title as a business with employees. Either an employee performs, or they get fired. Marketing is cutthroat.
For my first book, I settled on Interviewing Immortality, followed by Finding Immortality and Saving Immortality (in editing). I believe the word “immortality” is bold and transitions into different titles, yet it is not overused in other titles.
Will my series succeed? Only time will tell. (I made an immortality joke.)
    You’re the best -Bill

Bizzy Bone Talks OG Lessons From Dr. Dre & Ice T, Migos Feud & More
Anybody who respects hip-hop culture understands that Bone Thugs-N-Harmony stands among the most influential groups of all time. Pioneers of the triplet flow, Bone were some of the first emcees to implement melody in such a dominant fashion. Though each member can no doubt hold their own on wax, Bizzy Bone remains a fan favorite to this day. Fresh off the release of his recent Carbon Monoxide album, the legendary rapper hit up the Power 106 studios for a conversation with Nick Cannon.
Opening up about his role as an OG in the game, Bizzy recognizes the difficulty that can arise when advising some of the younger stars. He reveals that Ice T actually lived up to his Original Gangsta credentials, playing an integral role in giving Bone a reality check. “Ice T sat all of us down,” admits Bizzy. “He gave us the whole game, right before he went to New York. He said ‘don’t always ask for the money upfront, it’s not always about the money with these people out here. You go out there, you put the work in, and the money will be there for you.’ It stuck with me. It took me about fifteen years to apply it.”
Mat Hayward/Getty Images
He also remembers Dr. Dre giving him a sneak preview listen to Eminem, right before he came out. “He was like, ‘what you think?'” He confirms that it was “all love” between Dre and the Ruthless crew, despite having a few “little problems” here and there. “Dre always was on some Uncle Dre, OG Dre. He was never RAH RAH RAH like we was. My boy Lobel tell me Dre told I’m his favorite artist. I said “if that’s the case, well let’s do a record! But nah, it’s always been love. He’s very special to me. Ren, Yela, and Cube, they very special to me.”
Naturally, Cannon inquires about a recent “fued” with the Migos, which found both Bizzy and Layzie firing diss tracks at the Atlanta trio. “I had to address the issue,” explains Bizzy. “You can’t have Layzie putting out a song by himself. You can’t do that. You gotta represent the Bone cult. The Book Of Thugs…I wanted to make sure I got [the record out] and squash it once and for all. I didn’t think they really would want to do anything with me lyrically. I talked to DJ D-Wrek a long time ago, he told me ‘B, they are afraid of you.’ I’m like, that’s what’s up!'”

Folding Knife
Fold pocket knife
Buy a folding pocket knife Experience a rewards, whether it's your first knife or half. However, if you have purchased a function for practical purpose or collection, then a few points should be considered. There are no special orders for them here.
Tumblr media
A good point for your folded knife will be its weight. Light weight creates an everyday air, but for light weight you do not have to sacrifice strength and energy, because we're talking a few tips well.
Quality brand
I think the best way to select an automatic brand knife is to When you buy a knife, you make sure that the bladder is made of good steel, so it will hold the edge and be sharp if needed. Most pole knives are used daily and everyday failures keep up to date and require tear without failure.
Klingo-key mechanism
You also want to fold a pocket knife that has a good blade key, you can turn it on one hand suddenly. It may cause unexpectedly a wound due to a flawed plaque as a safety function.
Vision
If you want a good knife with a nice outer end, look and look at other sounds. If you do not want to see it, do not buy it. I heard people say, I really did not like her appearance, but the price was correct. Get a knife you want.
Pocket clip
This is not an important thing and depends on how you like to wear your knife. If you want to spend your knife this point makes it easy to carry. If you carry a knife inside your pocket, you can live without a clip.
Pivot
Pivot is probably the most important element of a bead knife. The pivot is a point where the blade handle, the ground where the blade will turn, and the original where the knife will hit the point. If a knife has been long and open for a long time, you will need a good quality pivot.
Here are 3 things that can tear your folded knife:
1. Desire and corrosion
Shark must be used. Very easy Snippets will take care of. So next time, when you open the knife in your pocket to make good use, make sure to clean bladder so that the oxide does not start.
2. Difficult use
Yes, just use hard, and your new fold folded knife WREK. Shark should be used, okay?
Yes they are.
So the thickness of the altar as a knife is important to you. This cool knife can create a perfect conversation with your friends, but you probably will not be able to keep the price, anger and strings you want to keep.
3. What is the point?
If your new folded knife has a slim dot, they will probably look extremely terrific and frightening.
Keep in mind that slim dots are easily broken or tapped than their thicker parts.
Knife knives should not be used to throw knives or mackets, so I recommend you to treat your honor!
This is the most popular one of the 505 knight lock back fold knife. It makes a thin folded knife that makes it very convenient to carry. It has a stainless steel blade, which means it lasts its edge for a long time. This speech 505 product has beautiful handles with Birchwood cover. What I like about this knife is compact. It makes it very versatile and can be carried out in almost all situations.
This blue wood 6.5 pocket knife has 10 customer reviews, and 9 clients gave this folded knife 5 stars. Of course, they all like the brand of speech. They say that these knives are far more than others, and they are a great quality for the price. As the lifespan guarantees display, the manufacturer has great pride and confidence in these products.

Folding Knife
Buying a folding pocket knife is a rewarding experience, whether it's your first knife or the fifties. However, if you buy a knife for practical reasons or to collect, there are some points that everyone should consider. In no particular order are most of them here. A good point for your bent knife would be its weight. The lighter weight produces a daily breeze, but you never have to sacrifice strength for light weight, because we are talking about some advice.
Quality mark
I think that choosing an automatic brand knife is the best way. When buying a knife, you must make sure that the bladder is made of a good grade of steel, so that it holds the edge and sharpens when necessary. Most bar knives are worn daily and they must keep up with daily clothes and tears without failing.
Klingo-key mechanism
You also want to fold a pocket knife that has a good blade key, one that you may have to keep the bladder near your hand accidentally. This is a safety function, since unexpected closing of the blade can cause a wound.
The view
You want a good knife with a good outer end, other words are seen and seen. If you do not like how it looks, do not buy it. I heard people say, I really did not like their appearance, but the price was right. Get a knife that you like.
Pocket clip
This is not something important and it really depends on how you prefer to use your knife. This point facilitates transport if you want to cut the knife. If you carry the knife in your pocket, you can live without a clip.
Pivot
The pivot is perhaps the most important element of a bent knife. The pivot is a point where the blade is fixed to the handle, the place where the blade will rotate and the point where the key will hold the blade. To have a knife that lasts a long time and opens, you will need a good quality pivot.
Here are 3 things that can twist your folded knife knife:
1. Lust and corrosion.
Sharks must be used. Plain and simple. The fragments must also be taken care of. Then, next time, when you take your folded pocket knife for good use, clean and dry the bladder so that the rust does not start.
2. difficult use
Yes, alone, the difficult use can and WREK your new folded knife. Sharks should be used however, right?
Tumblr media
Yes they are.
That is why the thickness of a blade is as important to you as a knife. This attractive looking knife could be a perfect conversation from your friends, but it is likely that you will not continue with the price, anger and tension you intend to put.
3. What is the point?
If your new bent knives have a thin tip, they will probably look extremely frightening and frightening.
Remember that fine points also break or hit more easily than their thicker parts.
Folding knives should not be used as knives or machetes, so I advise you to treat their respect.
This 505 Knight Lock folding knife is one of the most popular. It is a thin and folded knife that makes it very comfortable to wear. It has a stainless steel blade, which means that its edge lasts a long time. This product Buck 505 has beautiful handles with birch cover. What I like about this knife is how compact it is. This makes it very versatile and can be carried out in almost all situations.
This Blue Wood 6.5 pocket knife has 10 customer reviews, and 9 of them gave these knives doubled 5 stars. Of course everyone likes the Buck brand. They say that these knives are much longer than others, and they are of great quality for the price. The manufacturer has great pride and confidence in this product, as demonstrated by the lifetime warranty.
The folded knife is a good tool to have. They are used mainly for common tasks, daily payment and care, sometimes called duty for emergencies, such as cutting a cord or self-defense. So choose wisely.

Home (Chapter Three)
Title: Home (Chapter Three) Pairing(s); Jughead Jones x Reader, Jughead Jones x Betty Cooper, eventual Veronica Lodge x Archie Andrews Warnings: Maybe some cursing, some yelling. Summary: The reader meets up with Juggie once again upon his request once Betty goes to her Journalism retreat. Some yelling happens and reader calls her friend Veronica up. A/N; I literally wrote this chapter right after chapter two. I’m feeling this fic to be honest. As always any feedback is greatly appreciated and I hope you all enjoy! Tag List; @day-dreaming-nightmare @emotional-wrek-hello @sunshine51879 @dempsey-mantle
The next morning after the rather miserable first meet up with Jughead you woke up to a soft knocking on your door. You groaned at first trying to ignore the knocking. But whoever was knocking refused to stop, and forced you to finally get out of bed and open the door. As soon as you opened the door you regretted it. You pulled your robe around you and looked down, “Hey, Juggie.” “Hey.” He nodded, “I thought I’d stop by and find out which room was yours. Because that’s my new job, full time stalker and what not.” He smiled softly. “Why are you really here, Jughead?” You asked, finally looking up at him with a soft hint of anger evident in your features. His smile immediately disappeared and he shrugged. “Wanted to apologize for yesterday. It’s just...you’ve gotta understand I didn’t think I was ever going to see you again.” “You never even tried to see me again. You didn’t try to find out where I was staying in New York and you didn’t try to find my new phone number. My going to NYU was your perfect chance to be free. And then Betty happened.” You scoffed, “And it is way too early in the morning to talk about any of this.” “No, it isn’t. You’re up now. So, let’s talk.” He put his hand on your door to make sure you didn’t try to close it on him. “No! There is nothing to talk about! And you shouldn’t be here with me you should be reassuring Betty that she doesn’t have to be nervous about this. I saw how she was acting. She needs you there right now. She doesn’t need you here with me.” “She’s gone.” Juggie replied, trying not to yell back at you. “She’s at some retreat in Florida until next week.” He informed you calmly. “God, I wish I was in Florida.” You mumbled before stepping aside. “If we’re going to talk we’re going to talk over coffee since your dumb ass woke me up.” He smirked at that, stepping inside your room. “That’s the spirit.” You poured two cups of coffee and practically threw his cup at him, but he caught it, causing you to roll your eyes at him. “Okay, now talk.” You prompted once you took a few long sips from your coffee mug, not breaking eye contact with him the whole time. He looked at you for the longest time, a faint smile on his lips. When he didn’t talk you sat your mug down and sighed, “When did you and Betty happen?” “About a year after you left.” You scoffed, running a hand through your hair. “About a year.” He nodded, “Yeah. It’s not like I went straight to her house and fucked right after you left like you’re making it sound like.” “You might as well have.” “That is not fair.” “I’ll tell you what’s not fair, making me choose. My parents were doing the same thing and I thought you were the only one I could talk to without you making me choose. You could have came with me. But you were a scared little boy who didn’t want to leave what he already knew. But I see that hasn’t really changed.” You continued, not giving him the chance to cut in even though you could tell he wanted to say something. “I remember about a year after I left I was still a fucking mess. I missed you. I wondered what you were doing, if anything good was happening in your life. Little did I know something good had already happened to you, I had left. I had to find out from the fucking mail lady that my parents were dead. The least you could have done was track me down just to inform me of that.” He rolled his eyes, “You fucking hated your parents!” “That’s all you have to say? God, you’re such a fucking dick!” You practically growled at him now. He paused and then a smile slowly reappeared on his face, “This is literally are first actual fight.” “Fuck off.” You mumbled, downing the rest of your now lukewarm coffee. “I don’t need this right now.” “I don’t think we’re done here.” “I think we are.” But you forced yourself to sit up straighter, “Fine, you wanna know something? I came down here to announce that I’m engaged.” He seemed a little shocked at that but then just shook his head, “Congratulations.” He picked his jacket back up and stood, walking towards the door. “I’m sure Betty will be happy for you, too.” Then he walked out of the door, slamming it just a bit. ~~ “I’m sure it’ll be okay. Just give it a few days.” V spoke to you over the phone later on that day. “He had nothing to say to me. I think coming back here was more of a mistake than I thought it would be, honestly.” You sighed, looking up at the ceiling. “Why did you go there, Y/N? I thought you couldn’t wait to get out of there when you were a kid.” You shrugged to yourself, “Luke proposed to me.” She squealed happily, “Y/N, that’s great! Although...that still doesn’t explain why you wanted to go back to Riverdale. I mean, did you say yes?” “Nope. I froze, told him that I needed a bit to think about it, and that was that. I just...he proposed and all I could think about was how quickly I left certain people here when I went to NYU.” “Certain people?” She pressed, “These certain people might not wear a beanie and have ‘the cutest laugh’, would they?” “Maybe. Well, no. He doesn’t wear a beanie anymore, apparently. And I haven’t heard him laugh ever since I’ve got here. All we’ve done is sit in awkward silence and yell at each other.” You scoffed at yourself. “I’m terrible. Luke is such a great guy, and Jughead is...he’s engaged to the girl next door.” “No way! He’s engaged?” Veronica gasped through the phone. “Yep.” “I think I’ve decided something.” “What?” “You’ll see.” There was a long pause before, “What crappy motel are you staying at down there, anyway?” ~~ It wasn’t even completely two days before Veronica showed up at your motel room door, smiling brightly. “I thought you could use some company.” She explained a soon as you opened the door. “What? No, I’m fine. Seriously, no.” You didn’t want her here just in case Juggie decided to come back for round two of the world’s worst argument ever. “Too bad, sweetie. I’m here now.” She replied, setting her back down at the foot of the bed. “Not unless it’s the sharing the bed part. I can take the floor.” “No, I don’t care about that. It’s just...you’re a New York girl. You couldn’t stand a day in Riverdale.” “You spent nineteen years in this place, did you not?” You rolled your eyes in defeat. “Fine.” “Besides, I want to meet this Jughead guy.” Your eyes became the size of the moon at that, “Oh, no. Nope. You’re not meeting him.” “Oh, come on, Y/N! You’re waiting for the right time to see him again. Because if you weren’t you would have been out of this place as soon as he had left the other day, right?” You hated it when she was always right- which she always was. “I’m waiting at least two more days before coming up with a reason to meet up with him again.” “That’s my girl.” She took off her gloves, looking around the room. “It really is a...well, it has a small town feel.” ~~ “You know, I think it would be nice.” You mumbled, looking over at Juggie where he lie right beside you. It was a beautiful night, and you loved the fact that you had a special place right next to the river that you could lie down and look up at the stars. He looked over at you, “What?” You shrugged, looking back up at the night sky. “If we were to be together forever.” He smiled softly at that nodding, “Gee, you really are a hopeless romantic, huh?” “Only for you.” You replied, not breaking your gaze at the stars. But at the corner of your eye you could see as he looked back at you. His eyes examined your face for the longest time before he replied, “I think it would be nice too.”

Through the rain - Wrekonize
[Verse 2:]
He stands in a place that nobody can understand or even go
Out amongst the seedy folk
Living under stars that you probably never seen before
Dirty shoes, dirty socks, soul keep it cleaner though
Trying to find a balance on a planet full of evil notes
Feeling quite lost, can you show him how or lead him home?
He ain't seen his momma in a minute and she need him close
Everything he does is in a toss up, he don't know
Which way is the right way and he's hoping it won't be below
Breathless, why is it I'm living in the vestige
Sleeping in the forest painting arrows on the exit
Brother's tryna call me up, sister's on the next click
Dad ain't talking to me and I feel so disconnected
Wrek this, situation here is kinda wrecked, it's
Not another episode you load up on your Netflix
Ozzy man get this, life is just a test, it's
Trying to see if it can break you down
[Hook:]
But if you handling the pain
Then you'll be damn sure to make it through the rain
What'd pop say?
If we keep pressing on
Got the bills stretching on
More stress and I'm a mess
But I keep pressing on, keep pressing on I guess
If they bleed flesh and I'm leaking all on the deck
But I keep a smile right up in they face
Cause if I'm handling the pain
Then I'll be damn sure to make it through the rain
Like mom said
If we keep pressing on
Got the bills stretching on
More stress and I'm a mess
But I keep pressing on, keep pressing on I guess
If they bleed flesh and I'm leaking all on the deck
But no rain ain't ever stopped us yet

Our Band Could Be Your Life (Bringing Underground Music Above Ground( Our Band Could Be Your Life is a very throrugh book with about 590 pages to read. Go to Amazon
Great for beginners or veterans ! The best thing about "Our Band Could Be Your Life" is how well it works as both an introduction to indie/punk/DIY to those who are unfamiliar with the music, and how well it will adds, reinforces, and strengthens the knowledge of those familiar with this type of music. Most of these bands are quite different from each other in terms of sound but they all share a similar story of rising from nothing to become unique and important bands in the world of independent rock music. "Our Band" is an easy and well paced read and spends enough time on each to give you a solid understanding of each band but not so much that is overwhelming or becomes too tedious. A unique portrait of an often overlooked time in Independent music ! Go to Amazon
Pleasant to read Well written and opinionated set of band biographies, including interviews with the musicians. I enjoyed the book very much. Go to Amazon
Great Introduction! This is a pretty decent book! It gives a good starting point for all of the bands featured and it's pretty excellent to see how some of them connect. Go to Amazon
Predictable profiles, but still good Predictable profiles? Here's what I mean. Go to Amazon
Brought back a lot of memories I saw many of these bands in the late 70's and early eighties. How great for me to relive my musical you at 49 years old. This book brought me back to many happy days. I saw the Minute Men a couple of times and I remember where I was when I heard about the car wrek that killed D. Boone. My brother and I had seen them only a couple months earlier in a Phoenix area bar. Go to Amazon
OK, but not great. I haven't finished the book, but I find it merely OK. Like most music writers, Azerrad thinks that the time period he is discussing (the 1980s) is more important than any other time period in music. I don't entirely agree, so to hear him talk about how critical the "Reagan Years" were and how everything before or after it was lacking gets a bit tiresome. That being said, the book has some interesting profiles of indie bands like Minor Threat, Black Flag, Mission of Burma, Sonic Youth, etc. If you're looking for a good book about independent punk bands, I preferred reading "We Owe you Nothing" by Daniel Sinker which is a little less "music-writer-ey" Go to Amazon
I can't believe it's taken this long to read this book. Having experienced a similar lifestyle as the bands covered in this book, although maybe not to the extent in some cases, I can't Go to Amazon
One Star Made for a great gift! you'll love Five Stars Three Stars Five Stars I was a huge fan of most of the featured bands and enjoyed taking a stroll down memory lane this book is such a fun read for someone Five Stars GREAT BOOK HELPS A LOT!!!!

"Ice T sat all of us down," admits Bizzy. "He gave us the whole game, right before he went to New York. He said 'don't always ask for the money upfront, it's not always about the money with these people out here. You go out there, you put the work in, and the money will be there for you.' It stuck with me. It took me about fifteen years to apply it."

He also remembers Dr. Dre giving him a sneak preview listen to Eminem, right before he came out. "He was like, 'what you think?'" He confirms that it was "all love" between Dre and the Ruthless crew, despite having a few "little problems" here and there. "Dre always was on some Uncle Dre, OG Dre. He was never RAH RAH RAH like we was. My boy Lobel tell me Dre told I'm his favorite artist. I said "if that's the case, well let's do a record! But nah, it's always been love. He's very special to me. Ren, Yela, and Cube, they very special to me."
Naturally, Cannon inquires about a recent "fued" with the Migos, which found both Bizzy and Layzie firing diss tracks at the Atlanta trio. "I had to address the issue," explains Bizzy. "You can't have Layzie putting out a song by himself. You can't do that. You gotta represent the Bone cult. The Book Of Thugs...I wanted to make sure I got [the record out] and squash it once and for all. I didn't think they really would want to do anything with me lyrically. I talked to DJ D-Wrek a long time ago, he told me 'B, they are afraid of you.' I'm like, that's what's up!'"
