@morgihurd: the future is an unwritten place. cannot express my gratitude enough to everyone for the constant love and support. i wouldn’t be where i am or accomplish what i have without it. congrats to all the girls who made olympic trials, can’t wait to watch you kill it!

while i’m also feeling really emotional about morgi (possibly?) not making trials, through all the love we have for morgi especially as she has excelled in this sport after we’ve watched her grow from a tiny dynamic nastia cup competitor to a mature, phenomenal gymnast, what has really struck me the most about this outcome is an overwhelming feeling of like... she’s gonna be okay no matter what? because honestly, while i fell in love with her gymnastics, what i think has made me even more proud, is her passion for aapi issues, and just thinking about her speaking at the nyc rally against aapi hate makes me tear up. she has impacted me in such a huge way outside of gymnastics as an asian american and i cant wait for what she has next in store, whether it’s more of her beautiful gymnastics, in elite or in college.

@morgihurd you are destined for brilliant things. cant wait to support you in whatever comes next!
