Hi everyone! To kick off our seasonal Morro events, our first one will be the spring collab event!

This year our theme is flowers/flower language.

Here's how it works: Sign-ups for a flower will occur in April (though this is not a deadline and you may continue to sign up for flowers in May).

Please note: you do NOT have to sign-up in order to participate in this event but it does help provide us a way to see who is doing what and help participants find others to collab with!

Participants will then create a work (or multiple if they wish!) that fits the theme/flower they chose and this will be posted any time from May 19-31. Anything goes--fics, art, gifs, cosplay, etc. As this is a "collab" event, we do encourage participants to collab with others and try their hand at any flowers that have not been claimed yet! You're also more than welcome to do multiple flowers/works!

For posting, simply post on tumblr any time from May 19 to 31 and tag this blog and we will reblog it here!

Rules:

No hate (racism, transphobia, homophobia, Islamophobia, etc) will be allowed, except in the context of exploring those themes.

OCs, AUs, and other non-canon content will be allowed.

Please tag/disclose all adult content properly so we may do the same when we reblog it here (we will allow adult content but we strongly encourage you to keep it rated T as the Ninjago fandom contains a wide range of ages).

Any other questions or concerns? Feel free to drop by and ask us! This really isn't an event with a lot of strict rules as long as you have fun and respect others :)

I'm still very proud of this one. inly noticed today the green hair was missing though, that green streak was made rushing right this instant, that's the thing id change or fix. and make it more golden. used todoroki proportions for it, a necessary evil to make shit look good sometimes. still so mad at myself for forgetting the other song lol

MORROTOBER SPRING SUBMISSION??

Yea, I've done it, My flower was the Queen Anne's Lace, which represents like a familial bond, which works a little with this, but I brought it sideways anyway. @morrotober It's also technically Autumn in Australia, but it's fineeee.

He was definitely dying, there was no doubt about it, part of his forearm had turned red and it had blown up like a balloon, and it hurt, it hurt so much, so Morro assumed he was dying. He couldn’t be the green ninja if he was dead though, so he couldn’t die, he was going to figure out how to stop dying and not tell Wu about it, but not right now, his arm hurt too much to even think, he could probably figure out how to un-die, after though. Morro didn’t want Wu’s help with whatever was happening because then he’d look weak, so he’d sit in the corner of the room he had been given and wallow in his misery and pain. “Morro?” The door creaked open, Wu stepped into the room and kneeled down in front of the boy. He grabbed his arm, lifting it to inspect the large red bump. “I told you not to trample through those flowers.” In his defense, Morro’s defense, Wu didn’t say that, or he did and Morro didn’t hear, or he did and Morro ignored him. The third one, but the giant field of long stemmed, white flowered plants were almost as tall as he was! No one could really blame any seven year old for wanting to run through a field of what looked like thousands of little white snowflakes carefully balanced on giant green stalks. His arm jerked back when he felt something freezing poke his injury. Wu held a small metal clip looking thing, trying to pick something out of the center bump on Morro’s arm. “Please hold still, I can’t get the stinger out whole if you move so suddenly.” Oh, he wasn’t dying, it was a bee, a damn bee and he was so terrified of losing his life to a bee sting. The great, prophesied, all powerful, green ninja, his weakness? Bees. “I’m going to go get you some ice, do not touch your arm, I don't believe you want it to feel any worse.” The Preeminent was getting way too good at simulating memories, what did she even want to tell him with that one, make him angrier at the man he thought cared, maybe? It didn’t matter anyway, Morro despised his former Sensei even without the Empress taunting him with his own memories.

Memories of someone he thought cared about him, memories of someone who had made him believe, promised him he meant something, memories of someone who had saved him more than once, memories of a father who’s care for him disappeared the second he wasn’t what he thought he was.
