played my first game of cards against humanity today. absolutely hated it. don't really truly understand how it ever became like a Thing. bowed out respectfully after 2 hands.
#like idk I think I'm about 10 years too old for it to be in any way funny#most of it was just uncomfortably reading the nastiest shit you've ever seen aloud in front of people you barely know#or have known for so long they are like family so like reading it in front of your mother#I don't get it#then being asked oh so what ARE your pastimes?#and just freezing completely cause like... what do you even say to that?#hanging out! by myself! chillin! alone! spending every day of the last decade like... chillin by myself!#all I can think of is rust cohle 'I'm bad at parties'#like oh what would you like to play instead what's your favorite game?!?!#like.... I don't? have one? I'm not trying to be difficult I'm fine sitting here and not playing and handing out cards?#I haven't played a group game in over a decade like I'm really not trying to be difficult I just am not a game person#I'm a sit quietly until I can leave without it being rude person
