Encouraging someone like that is what Sonic does. Tails has adopted his mannerisms. But it also feels way too much like something that Tails himself would definitely say, as part of his own mannerisms instead of Sonic's. The brothers have grown so much alike, it's difficult to differentiate some of their habits.
