selkie mothiva's fame is like a combination of her canon idol singer status and grumpy cat-esque internet meme virality. she's literally the source of every single cat video in bugaria

unfortunately she only really gets to wear her pelt when she's being recorded or photographed because it's in her contract and the manager(s) usually keep the pelt for contract enforcement reasons. she has. no privacy ever

she is however in possession of zasp's pelt most of the time. he's fine, he gave it to her as part of the selkie courtship thing. this does mean she has a degree of control over him, but how much of it is actually the magic and how much is his... naturally devoted attitude is anyone's guess
