ok putting this here so i wont forget. furry au species ideas based on vibes and vibes alone
spike and dimitri are worms, no question. unsure if they're a catdog situation and just really long or if they're separate entities.
wilbur is a crow, a raven would have been cool with the iridescent wings, but i think they'd be a bit much for him
goob i haven't settled on, unicorn seems like low-hanging fruit and i might only go with it if i can't settle on something else... although i love the idea of him being a moth. kid goob can be a silly little grub and bhg can be a big spooky moth. ovo
torn on if petunia should stay exactly the same or get animal'd. either way she's still a puppet
fritz is a gerbil though. also tangentially related i think he would do really well with one. probably had a lot of rodents as pets/prefers them over other animals (no hate to buster. he probably does freak him out a little though)
gaston is an armadillo, bc stuntmen having built-in armor seems pretty handy. still probably knocked out a couple teeth though.
honestly i wasn't even thinking about lefty and buster before diving into this and now i'm considering the comedic potential in turning them human. not the frogs though. they would be fun to humanize as well but franny being their regular instructor might be silly. idk this is all subject to change im just shootin shit out there

reeeaaaaaaaallly want to draw mtr fanart again but i think my brains still decompressing a bit from the move. i want to keep working on the furry au refsheets. and drawing more guys i havent touched yet. maybe do some experimenting w my style since i dont really have anything super consistent rn and need to find a groove
