ABOUT
I'm an artist that knows the industry behind the scenes as well as being in front of the camera. I'm experienced in more than one area of the fashion industry, from hair & makeup to fashion styling and modeling techniques to the theme of a commercial and fashion show setting. I have to ability to teach, guide and develop a model to be successful, as well as an everyday woman who wants to know how to wear day make makeup tonight — knowing how to style young women to a mature women. I feel like I'm more than a triple threat. I have the advantage of having multiple skills to make the fashion world work for me.
Chasity, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Make-up Artist?
My uncle was a transsexual; he did shows three times a week. I would watch and learn and then began to teach me how to transfer him. I mastered the technique, and from there, I've become who I am
Who is your inspiration in life Chasity? How do you stay inspired as a Make-up Artist?
Specific things inspire me at random times. One of my favorite inspirations in interior design. I love color and weirdness. Out the ordinary things keep me motivated.
We all make mistakes Chasity; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
I don't regret any mistakes I've made. I am who I am because of those mistakes.
Chasity, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
I cater to all my clients because first and foremost, there happiness is most important.
Please tell us, Chasity, how do you prioritize work, social life, friends, and family?
Business is always first. And everything else falls in place.
Chasity, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I've never had to persuade anyone because once you make a person comfortable enough to know what your capable of delivering what it is they want. Persuading isn't necessary
Chasity, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Make-up Artist.
When I landed the cover of the D Magazine in Dallas, TX
Chasity, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
When D Magazine gave me full control over the entire shoot.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Make-up Artist?
Find your special makeup technique and master it.
