Here I created some pressed flower paper. I did this by cutting up paper and mixing it in a blender with water till it became a thick paste like consistency. I then collected petals and leaves from flowers and mixed them into the blended paper and water mixture. l then poured the mixture over a piece of tulle that I had stretched over a rectangular . frame. After letting some of the waterdrain through the tulle l placed a piece of cotton over the tulle frame and flipped it. Then using a sponge I pressed out as muchwater as I could. Then l removed the tulle frame and left the paper to dry on the cotton. I repeated this six times till I ran out of the mixture.
Once dry I tested out how different medias worked on the pressed flower paper. By doing this I found out that water colour was much harder to use as the paper soaked up all the water leaving the paint very dark and unable to move. However promarkers, coloured pencils and pastels worked well.
