Le 4/5ème

Nous y sommes. Le 1er septembre, je passe en horaire 4/5ème. Après en avoir discuté avec chéri, il s’est avéré que l’on souhaitait s’offrir ce luxe, de prendre le temps. Pour mon babychou n°1 qui a un an et demi. Pour babychou n°2 que je couve et qui nous rejoindra en janvier 2021. Pour la maison à entretenir et à rénover par ci par là. Et pour moi aussi, il faut bien l’avouer. 

Et ce premier jour de congé durant la semaine ne m’a pas déçue. J’ai eu le temps de profiter de mon fils le matin, de jouer en étant détendue. De préparer un petit déjeuner de compétition: porridge aux mûres du jardin. De conduire mon fils à pied à la crèche et de prendre l’air. De cuisiner équilibré pour le midi avec les légumes du jardin que j’ai ramassé quelques minutes avant. De lancer deux lessives. De ranger et nettoyer la cuisine et le salon. D’aller faire une course chez Ikea. D’amener ma voiture au garage pour une réparation qui était prévue. De faire du shopping pendant la dite réparation. De raccommoder un pantalon décousu. Et enfin d’installer ma déco automnale pour accueillir cette saison flamboyante comme il se doit. Tout ça en UN JOUR et EN SEMAINE. N’est-ce pas incroyable? 

Tous les lundis ne seront pas aussi rentables, c’est certain. Et ce n’est pas un but ultime. Mais changer de rythme, avoir un week end de 3 jours m’apporte déjà une grande sérénité. Ce qui n’est pas fait samedi, sera fait dimanche. Et ce qui n’est pas fait dimanche sera fait lundi. Et franchement, ce luxe d’un jour de congé me permet d’être une maman et une épouse beaucoup moins stressée et beaucoup plus disponible.

That’s what mums do! What job do you do? I’m just a mum! I have never been a big fan of stigmas. But yes, I am a full time mum... And like so many mums, I am working from home and grab any little jobs that would make an extra income for our family. Our society expect’s a lot from us mums.
