NEW WORK - He-Man Figure / Toy Painting. Paint what you love, is the advice I always give people, and my first every love, the reason I came obsessed with comics, heroes, pop culture etc was He-Man and The Masters of the Universe, and in particular the figures, they were my first of many many that I have collected over the years. During the pandemic I found myself going back to the things that give me joy, the things that I spent hours with before work, money, life got in the way. That inspired me to do some paintings of these childhood ‘precious’ items and He-Man is the first. Acrylic and ink on canvas even with the bent axe, if you had the figure you will know!
