Who let them take care of you??? Who thought this was a good idea?

Oh, wait... No one let them take charge, it was just that they’re the only ones left at headquarters... At the very least, the twins aren’t wholly incapable of keeping you alive - they make you soup and offer to (semi-unhelpfully) read to you until you fall asleep. Between these you hazily remember headpats and updates about when the others will return.

...Mithra joins in on this not because he’s worried, really. He wants to try and sleep too so he’ll take whatever he can get if it has a chance of working. It’s a small party in your room at that point but you can barely bring yourself to care over your stuffy nose and headache.

When you wake up the next day it’s to Owen drawing something on the floor. He says it’ll make sure you sleep better the next night, but based on his smile you aren’t very comforted by that idea - maybe you’ll ask someone to help you erase it later on.

Last but not least Bradley barges in to deliver you breakfast - it’s a simple dish which makes you thankful since it’ll be easy to tolerate for your tired taste buds. While you eat you’re surprised by how he doesn’t leave immediately, instead he talks to you and by the time your brain finally wakes properly, he’s given you a ring he found (stole? you’re never really sure); apparently this should help you feel more fired up..? You’re not sure how that works, but appreciate the thought nevertheless.

Chloe (bless him) helps you air out the room. Pillows fluffed for maximum comfort and window open just enough for a nice breeze to enter. At one point between dozing off you register the smell of familiar cologne - Rustica? - and a rustle. Moments later your room is filled with the comforting scent of flowers; did one of the wizards cast a spell on them? It smells of lavender and essential oils now and you can’t help but smile as you drift off to sleep once more.

What was supposed to be Shylock bringing you your meal in bed becomes lunchtime in your room - as in, Murr came in close after and said he was hungry. Then as the other two entered Rustica suggested that having tea would be nice, and well - tea is good for colds too... So was there really a reason to deny them of this?

Shylock whispers to you that if it feels too noisy at any point, to let him know and they’ll leave, but you just shake your head and assure him it’s fine. The place being a little lively is fun, and it makes you feel less like you’ve become a prisoner to your headache, locked into a room to try and recover...

Depending on how long they do stay, you might end up with getting your nails painted because Chloe mentioned something about it and Murr thought it’d be fun - while you’re still a bit tired from being sick, this isn’t too much exertion. And seeing the happy gleam in the purple-haired wizard’s eyes after he sees what Chloe did to your nails? It was a pick-me-up in itself! You might also be offered a massage at some point, to relax your muscles - by who? Well...
