#is there a gender-neutral term#or terms for other genders?#my (limited) understanding is that the Jewish faith doesn't follow every text related to the religion because (1) there are many and (2)#some are considered to be more metaphoric and less direct#unlike Christianity which picks up the book and says 'everything in here is always true and literal' (except the things that say not to be#bigot or a money hoarder but that's because of <insert justification>)'#alright alright so my question is what would be the status of the 'there are 6 genders' thing?#Do people consider this one to be okay?#Or is it like; one text amongst so many that no one reads because they're old and specific and not in line with others#I literally know so little about religion
