Me: *feeling drowsy and cozy abt 130 or so idefk*

My Lungs: so, check it out. we took a single drag of the outside air which contains particulates of smoke, not even enough to smell it or make the air look bad. and we decided we hate that, 6 hrs after the fact. so how about you take a drag off that inhaler.

Me: but that's...if I use my emergency inhaler, I'll be wired and trembling for hours...

My Lungs: no yeah we know, but that single breath six hours ago was gross and we're lodging a complaint right now.

Me, Now: *quivering bc that inhaler tho*

#my lungs are gdamn divas #crappy lungs since day one #born with a cough so rattling and eldritch they assumed my infant ass somehow caught whooping cough #i cannot tell you how much of a superpower it isn't to be able to develop bronchitis after 10 hrs in Barstow #and yet it happen #it's why I sideeye smoggy cities sm even though I love the city #i digress #i really am very spaced and trembling rn #stupid oxygen with the stupid smoke particulates
