jaehan felt a bit like daedalus -- if daedalus ever stood in a park testing a rocket board, and his fatal flaw was not listening to his own field notes which clearly stated that he needed to secure the board somewhere before turning it on.

so now here he was -- running after a rogue skateboard on wheels and mini-boosters, you know, like an idiot, dodging parkgoers and the occasional pets as he tried in vain to shut down the automated skateboard currently on a warpath towards someone obliviously looking in the other direction.

shit, shit, shit-- jaehan started shouting, each one rising in pitch and panic as the skateboard hurtled towards the person’s poor, unassuming feet, “hi! hello? excuse me! please lookoutohgodturnaroundit’srightbehindyou!”

sinjae didn’t like rain. he didn’t like how loud it could be, or how hard it could pelt down onto ground and crash against it. didn’t like how it felt hitting against his skin in buckets. funny that, when he used to enjoy sitting outside in it, or just watching it from his window. used to be therapeutic.. definitely wasn’t that as he waited out the passing storm within thick walls. he could still hear it loud and clear, but it was better in here. 

or it is until the lights flicker and then fizzle out. it didn’t leave him in darkness, but it was enough to leave him startled for a minute, explosions popping off in his hands in reflex even if he tried to stop them. maybe in a second he’d feel bad for whatever poor soul was with him in case he startled them. right now he just focused on grounding himself again.

hi there folks! this is sushi ( 18+, GMT+7, dm me for discord where i’m most active! ), who’s honestly super busy at the moment but i absolutely love bnha/mha and knew i had to join in as soon as i can! tbh by the time this is posted i'd be asleep so i'll reply to everyone tomorrow morning---that aside, here are the links for basics and personality/history. under the cut will be some plot ideas and a summary of haneul!

that ex who broke up with him because they found out he was apathetic.

that one person trying to motivate him but excuse him, he’s very content with his plans at the moment ( sort of ).

“okay, but did you really have to name your moves after nokia and tetris?“

( for a junior student ) haneul’s your role model and he really thinks you have to get someone else for that position.

( for a villain/vigilante ) so he found out who you are and he could send the heroes after you, but he also could completely ignore it because he’s more interested in not wasting his time on that drama but instead on something more productive like rupaul’s drag race. 

personality.

apathetic as hell.

aimless and chaotic in his head.

but also easy-going and chill on the outside.

except he’s also bluntly savage at times, then again he has his moments of eloquence that can put lawyers to shame.

really let him live the least troublesome life he can, he’s trying to go aim for the fifth fastest retirement because anything first to fourth would catch too many eyes.

history.

rich boy. father’s a doctor, mom’s the boss of a famous tea shop franchise.

doting parents, they spoiled him and shower him in too much love.

thought he was specical, realized he wasn’t, began to think more and became lost in deep thoughts that slowly formed into apathy.

“i want to be a hero.“ he lied

yet his lies become his false dream to succeed in, and now he’s in u.y.

his goal: graduate, retire fast, live his best life.

bonhwa was tired and grumpy. the second descriptor didn’t seem that necessary because he was always grumpy really but the tiredness was making it worse. he’d finished work and was heading home as the sun started to set, planning on picking up some take out before he got back to his apartment and passed out on the couch. well, he would have already gotten the take out if it wasn’t for the incident currently taking over the street. the ex-hero rolling his eyes as he watched a pair of flustered sidekicks struggle to take down a group of heroes. it wasn’t exactly dangerous, most people were just sitting around and watching until a pro would turn up and clean away the mess and get everything back to normal.

he didn’t miss having to deal with such meaningless missions. he was still watching the whole affair though which was what led to him being distracted long enough for some snotty-nosed kid to make a grab for his wallet. they didn’t get far before he was grabbing their arm and yanking them back. “hey! if you feel like robbing someone why don’t you try the old grandpa over there and not me, idiot.” golden eyes rolling as he continued to curse before very simply taking back his wallet pulling out a couple of notes and throwing at them at the now thoroughly reprimanded kid. who seemingly didn’t want to stick around long enough to question why they were still getting cash before scampering off. bonhwa huffing as he still felt eyes on him from some bystander. “you don’t seem like a hungry pick pocketer so don’t go expecting a handout like that for yourself.”

“i find it far too amusing that when my costume gets called out, it’s only ever by men. older men,“ seraphina mused, slightly clawed nails tapping gently against her glass now as she thought back on the recent events of the day. she was wearing said costumer now as she sat and had her drink, having just finished her patrol for the day. “marriage must be difficult for those with no interest in fun. but you know who never cares? woman. i’m convinced they love it more than i do.“ well, if they did care as much as the men did, it wasn’t really like seraphina took much notice. she always noticed the nicer, flirtier, sweeter, comments than those that were harsh criticisms. “it’s not like it’s fair to tell me what to wear though when a man can happily walk around with his tits out, but i’m told it’s disgraceful to show even a little skin on the job? how unfortunate.“

villains. villains are on the loose.

that's as far as the announcement on the screen goes before the surroundings drop into pitch black. every citizen around her screams in terror; scrambles around aimlessly in the dark in search of safety. it's absolute chaos, but riyu stays frozen on her spot, clutching on her handbag strap so hard that her knuckles match the shade of white chalk.

this was supposed to be her day off. this was supposed to be the day well spent on designer bags and good rounds of grounded coffee after a massage and good chat at the local parlor. not this. not a villain attack. not knowing that danger is potentially seconds away from swooping her off her feet and providing her a nightmare that would last a lifetime.

her brain has already short circuited, but her legs move on their own. she flinches every two seconds when someone skedaddles past a centimetre too close to her and bites back a frightened whimper every time a loud crash bounces across her eardrums. memories of the past flash across her eyelids and play like a horror movie — blinding her off rationality until she realizes seconds too late that she's run off into a lone alleyway in the dark. she can hear incoming footsteps amidst her growing panic.

the snakes upon her hair react to her emotions. when she's calm, the snakes are calm. when she isn't, then so are they. and at this point in time — she's far from relaxed. the snakes trash about and stand hostile around her head, hissing indignantly at the direction of footsteps as she cowers in fear, digging her face into the heels of her palms as she scrambles to find her voice.

"s-stay away!" she cries out, the trepidation heavy in her system. "or i'll hurt you, you hear me!?"
