🌸Cherry Blossom Viewing🌸

Here's my gift for @philomel-astra (pleased to meet you!) for the KnB Valentine's/White Day Exchange 2024 (@knbexchange)!

Cherry blossom viewing season is about to start in Japan, so this piece is inspired by it. Here we have post-Last Game Kagami and Kuroko partaking in "hanami (花見)" or "flower viewing" which is mainly used for cherry blossom viewing. Kagami is eating a burger (is anyone even surprised?) and Kuroko is eating hanami dango (a popular springtime snack in Japan). Nigou has come along with them and is enjoying a nice little nap under the sakura trees.

Late Summer Stroll

I've had this ask in my inbox for a while, so I decided to work on it. (sorry it took so long, anon!) Since Furihata likes trains, it was a given that this would involve trains. The model is based off an actual train from the Keihan Electric Railway (with some creative liberties from me). I'm not sure if there actually is a model toy of this type of train (or if it's that price).

I later wanted to change the train to a more luxurious one like Seven Stars. But I had already drawn this one, and the Seven Stars is a little more ornate (meaning I didn't want to draw that). So, you can just imagine that they occasionally take rides on that one.

Imagine if Kaneki had told Hide from the very beginning, and they become some type of vigilante duo or something.  Getting arrested on their first job (graffiti maybe), lol.

I was waffling between them being arrested by the CCG or the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Dept.  I decided to go with the latter.  They also got arrested the day before Kaneki's 19th birthday.  And Nerima is the name of the 20th ward in Tokyo.
