"Good. Good to know." She nodded, taking it to note. Not long after she felt a yawn escape her. The events of today were already starting to get to her, feeling the need to rest. And yet, she still had homework to do. But first, dinner in the Great Hall.

Luckily she would probably never have to meet his father. He had already met her adoptive father and that went just as she imagined it would. She couldn't imagine Avallac'h meeting her biological father, especially if his father was trying to run exactly for the position he was currently in. Oh...that would be a fun conversation sometime.

Finally making it back to Hogwarts Castle, she entered only to smell dinner already waiting for them in the Great Hall along with all the loud chatter of other students and staff enjoying the feast. "If you want, you can come sit with me. Even if it's at the Gryffindor table. No one should make a big fuss about it, except for Geralt."

"You didn't offend me. I just forget that it's something that's considered odd outside of the families." He stuffed his hands into his pockets and kept pace with her. "It takes a lot more than that to offend me anyway." He knew that he was considerably easy going compared to his family or most purebloods. It had begun as a simple curiosity about the outside world and slowly developed into a tolerance. The very mention of her meeting his father made him cringe. He knew that wouldn't end very well if it ever happened. She wasn't a pureblood, and his father would look down on her for it. "No. You wouldn't." He didn't even want to think of the fireworks that might spark if the two of them ended up in a room together. She was a free spirit, and his father hated nonconformity. Oil and water.

Ciri gives the sage a look, arms crossed, shaking her head. She couldn't picture as to how she had been acting like a child. Then again, maybe it had to do with the fact that elves saw humans a certain way...or perhaps, it was the fact humans had shorter lifespans compared to beings who could brag about being almost immortal.

"How have I been behaving like one? I thought asking questions was a normal part of the learning experience." She still didn't trust him too well, but Ciri had to take a risk and give him the benefit of the doubt. "If you're thinking I'm going to be one of those students who keeps their mouth shut and doesn't ask questions, you're sorely mistaken." She lets out a chuckle.

As far as the world was concerned, Lara Dorren was dead--or at least that was the story she had wanted to be told long ago. It was better this way.

With all she had done-- leaving behind all she had known, falling in love with a human, and setting a target on him, it was best if the world believed she had died. It was also best for Riannon so she could live a full life, one away from constantly looking behind your shoulder or having ties to a destiny to fulfill. But of course, things didn't go as planned...when did it ever when it concerned her?

She couldn't return home, and Lara had no where else to go, but there was only one person she could think of--one person still alive that she could turn to. "Crevan..." she wasn't sure how to tell him, but it was what she owed him. "I know you're surprised to see me. You probably think I'm a figment of your imagination, but...I can tell you I am real and I am...alive."

Wanting to confirm his suspicions, Lara reached out towards him, hesitating at first, but then reaching gently for his hand.

The Princess of the Alders sighs with frustration. It wasn't the fact that Lara didn't understand what was expected of her when it came to being a princess--especially one with the prized Elder Blood-- that bothered her. It was the fact that she didn't have the freedom in the choices she made. Not even a little. It was always up to her father and his council.

"I'm just hoping that whoever he chooses is someone I know at the very least. Is that bad to ask for?"

Ciri can't help but smile at this, joining in with her mother. "Oh...yes. So dangerous. Luckily I'm in Gryffindor and seem to be quite adapt and able to handle him thanks to all of your teachings. Besides...I've handled worse." She pats her father's back, trying to reassure him.

"Ciri, I want you to stay away from Avallac'h. He's dangerous." *The so called "dangerous" Avallac'h*

She was relieved to hear that the sage was alright and would be waking up in a matter of no time. Eredin had put him under a curse and there was no hiding the fact she was afraid he would find them for good. But thanks to her family, Avallac'h had been saved. And thank to the sage, Ciri was back safe with her family.

So when Ciri had entered the room, wanting to check on him, only to find him awake, she couldn't help but take him into an embrace. "I don't know what you would call it in your language, but in mine, it's called a hug. You had me worried. I'm glad you're alright. For a moment there, I thought Eredin surely would have gotten us."
