Rainy Days (Charlie Dalton x reader)
Tumblr media
requested by @potters-scoops-troop
It had been raining for over a week now, no end in sight and you were getting sick of it. Even though you typically loved the rain, rain at Welton was different. Rain made the already austere school worse and the teachers miserable; well, the ones that weren’t normally miserable were and the ones who usually were got worse.
You were sitting in your room, homework left behind on the desk as you watched the rain trickle down the glass pane of your window. Your roommate had left hours ago to study with Meeks in the library, they were getting awfully close once you had introduced them to each other. Meanwhile your Latin and trig homework was rotting away on your desk only half done. You had time to procrastinate for a little while, you told yourself.
A soft knock on the door pulled your gaze from the window. You walked over to the door and pulled it open to find your boyfriend Charlie Dalton standing outside your room with an impish grin on his face.
You pulled him into your room by his collar and shut the door behind you. “Did anyone see you?”
“Nah,” he replied. “Everyone’s huddled downstairs by the fire or in their rooms.” Charlie leafed through the papers on your desk.
“What’re you doing here Charlie?” you asked, not annoyed but just curious. He looked up from your homework. “What do you say about getting out of here?”
“It’s pouring out.” You gestured at the window vaguely.
“So?” He smiled and ushered you out of your room, tossing your coat hood on top of your head as you went.
You slid your arms into the sleeves and let him take your hand and drag you outside into the torrential downpour. The coat felt heavy on your shoulders in a matter of seconds.
Charlie wasn’t even wearing a coat, just a Welton sweater over his collared shirt. It hung off his body awkwardly as he led you farther away from the school until you could hardly even see the glow on the lights through the sheets of rain. He gave you a look, holding your arm long and straight out to him.
  “Charlie—” you smiled.
He grinned back and tugged at your arm so you would twirl into him. You spun towards him, misjudging your steps so that you crashed into his chest with a laugh. He swayed you back and forth as the rain soaked you through.
Charlie held you against his chest, arms around your waist, water dripping between you as he leaned in a kissed you briefly on the lips. Your lips were soaked against his and his hair dripped on your already wet face, but you hardly cared. You were both soaked already.
He lifted your feet off the ground slightly as he spun you, your toes dragging across the wet cement.
“A little poetry?” he asked.
You nodded and smiled. “Always.” ‘“When that I was and a little tiny boy, With hey, ho, the wind and the rain, A foolish thing was but a toy, For the rain it raineth every day. But when I came to man’s estate, With hey, ho, the wind and the rain, ’Gainst knaves and thieves men shut their gate, For the rain it raineth every day—“’
“That’s Shakespeare, Charlie,” you said in a fake scold, placing your hands upon your hips.
Charlie gaped at you. “I am hurt you don’t think I could write that.”
“As wonderful of a poet you are when you aren’t stealing poetry, you aren’t Shakespeare and I just read Twelfth Night.”
“Perhaps I should have chosen a different play,” he said.
“Write your own, Charlie,” you replied and pressed a kiss to his nose and then to his lips.
“Do you want to head back inside?” he asked. “Or shall I recite some more poetry.”
“Recite as we walk,” you replied. “I’m soaked and freezing.”
Charlie put his wet arm around your shoulders as you walked back to Welton. It did nothing to help hide you form the cold only brought you comfort, but in this weather, it couldn’t even warm your insides.
As you walked back, Charlie recited another poem, one you didn’t recognize but knowing Charlie it wasn’t his own:
‘“Rain and love Come with full force, Affect everything In the way, And leave, taking everything with it.”’
Charlie steered you towards the boys’ dorms and you hardly protested, you knew he could get you in and out of there without a single soul noticing except his roommate, Cameron, who at this point just left as soon as he saw the both of you in there.
Cameron wasn’t there when you two ran into his room, dripping rainwater down the hallway. You stood in the centre of his room as he sifted through his dresser and tossed a pair of sweatpants and one of his many school branded Welton sweatshirts at you. Charlie left with his own pile of clothes to change at the communal bathroom. You quickly swapped your sopping wet outfit for his warm and dry comfy clothes. Your hair was still soaked, and you wrung it out as best as you could.
Charlie returned within a matter of minutes, his hair sticking up in every single direction and every which way. He looked rather like a baby bird in a weird and kind of cute sort of way.
“I still have to fix my hair,” he announced to not particularly anyone as you knew your boyfriend and he really wouldn’t allow for his hair to stay like that.
You watched as he took a ridiculous amount of time with his comb to shape his hair, so much so you grew bored of waiting for him. You got off his bed and nudged him forward on his chair and nuzzled yourself in behind him, wrapping your arms around his middle and legs around his hips.
“Hi,” he said, his voice hushed. He rubbed his fingers lazily over your leg.
“Hi,” you whispered back. “You were taking too long.”
He smiled and put his comb down. Standing slowly, he carried you on his back over to his bed and dropped you down there before crawling onto the bed himself. He laid on his back and you put you head on his chest, still looking up at him. He wrapped his arm around you, holding you tight to his body.
  “Better?” he asked.
“Better,” you answered, nuzzling into his warm body, soaking in the heat and finally feeling warm from your rain-soaked adventures.

Steven Meeks Dating a Pretty Girl who is actually a total Geek
Tumblr media
requested by @kittymacaroons
First of all, no one would expect you to look like how you did
it’s not that the dead poets are judgy but knowing Meeks, they expected someone who looked well...a little more dorky/geeky - like him
He had talked about you to the dead poets before they met or even saw you
In fact, he raved about you
you got along so well and you never ran out of things to discuss, how could he not rave about you?
you were perfect for him
They knew about your personality before they saw you, and that was partially why they had this opinion formed of what you would look like before they met you/saw you
They were shocked, to say the least
Charlie definitely flirted with you - he was mostly joking because Meeks is his friend and you don’t do that to a friend.
Hanging out with the dead poets for the first time was a little odd, mostly because they kept shooting shocked looks at Meeks and staring at you which made you a little uncomfortable.
afterwards, when Meeks was walking you home or to your car (whatever) you asked him why they kept staring at you and if you did anything wrong
“They’re just jealous” “Why?” “They didn’t expect me to be dating someone as gorgeous as you”
Meeks enjoyed the shock of the dead poets more than he cared to admit
As you continued to spend more time with the dead poets, the shock didn’t wear off nearly as much as you would have liked, but as you hung with them they also started to realize why Meeks was with you
as you opened up to the group, they noticed your geeky side as you talked about your hobbies and passions
They of course loved you because they are also a bunch of dorks and geeks
They never did though for as long as you dated Meeks, and not even when you tow got married got over the shock of your beauty
Meeks only kept reminding them you can’t judge a book by it’s cover and beauty doesn’t mean boring and/or uninteresting/not-geeky
I hope this is what you were looking for. Sorry it took so long, I was busy and then I forgot, and then I procrastinated it for a bit.

Dating Charlie Dalton and being Mr. Nolan’s Granddaughter
requested by @i-am-lost-and-need-a-map
Tumblr media
I decided to do this one headcanon style, hope that’s alright with you
First off, Charlie knew you were off limits, one hundred percent off limits and there was nothing he could do to change that
But when he saw you, he was enraptured by you
finding out that you were Mr. Nolan’s granddaughter and likely attended some wealthy preparatory school for girls nearby only made him want you more despite the challenge
it put a slight hinderance in his plans knowing that one wrong move and you’d likely tattle about the no good Mr. Charlie Dalton to your grandfather whom you appeared to be quite close with considering how often Charlie saw you visiting Welton
but, this is Charlie Dalton we are talking about and he didn’t give up so easily even when it put his own schooling at stake (because as well all know very little tends to bother him in that sense)
so the next time he saw you wandering around Welton’s campus he made sure to go introduce himself
he, fo course, walked up to you confidently and easily caught you in his charming comments and witty remarks, but his attempts to impressive you when he wasn’t being himself didn’t work
you could see right through his ruse and chuckled at his attempts to pretend to be a poetic genius
“that’s Shakespeare, Charlie” “oh really? and here I was thinking I was a great poet.”
you knew your grandfather would not approve of you dating one of the Welton boys...well at least just Charlie as Welton was proud of its students, but the more you got to know Charlie the more you realized he was exactly the kind of student Welton pretended they didn’t house
you made the mistake of mentioning meeting Charlie to your grandfather after your first talk...needless to say that although you loved your grandfather, you didn’t mention Charlie’s name again for a long while
Charlie made a beeline for you every-time he saw you on campus, it didn’t take the rest of the dead poets long to realize what, or rather who, was making Charlie drop everything and run after
“hey, fancy seeing you here.” “ha-ha Charlie, you knew I was coming by today.”
In fact, you visited Welton the same day every week, Charlie knew this and watched for you
soon, despite your head telling you he wasn’t worth the trouble, you found yourself visiting Welton a little more often, and sometimes not even bothering to visit your grandfather
Charlie spent less and less time trying to impress you and more time just being himself and you liked him better for it
it didn’t take long before you were falling head over heels in love with him
he was already in love and had been since that first day you spoke to him
you didn’t plan on telling your grandfather right away once you two started dating, you knew he wouldn’t approve but you both underestimated your grandfather’s ability to have eyes and ears all around the school
he had known you two had been talking and he’d seen you strolling the ground with your fingers laced together and despite his disapproval for Charlie Dalton he held nothing against him or you, it was not a matter related to the school and he figured you would tell him when you deigned to
sneaking visits were common enough before you were together, but now they happened all the time
Charlie visited your school as well
sneaking kisses in the corridors and behind archways on the school grounds
you never thought you would meet the boy of your dreams going to visit your grandfather at a snooty all boys preparatory school, but Charlie couldn’t help but draw attention to himself when a pretty girl was involved and despite all his foolish attempts to woo you his sarcasm and real personality leaked through making you fall in love with him without even trying to

Missing Sketchbook, Please Return to Artist (Neil Perry x fem!reader)
Tumblr media
requested by @i-am-lost-and-need-a-map
Welton was pretty quiet once classes were done for the day, at least it was quiet in the school where the classrooms were as all the boys were either studying or goofing off with their friends outside.
The dead poets trailed after Neil as he went down the empty and quiet halls in search of Mr. Keating. They rounded the corner and Neil knocked on Mr. Keating’s classroom door. They didn’t get a response, but the door wasn’t full closed, and it swung open at the force of Neil’s knocking.
Neil poked his head through the opening of the door. “Mr. Keating?”
No response.
“Mr. Keating?” Neil called again, slowly opening the door farther and stepping inside the classroom.
“I don’t think he’s here, Neil,” Meeks said.
Neil walked into the classroom, through to Keating’s office. The door was shut, and Neil rapped on it, which elicited no response. He tried the handle, only to find it locked.
“What do you have to talk to Mr. Keating about so urgently anyway?” Cameron asked and sat down at one of the desks.
Neil shrugged. “Nothing.” He wandered back down the aisle between the desks, heading for the door when he spotted a book flopped open on the floor of the classroom, nearly hidden from sight. He bent down to retrieve the book, flattening the pages back to their original state.
  “What’s that?” Todd asked.
Neil shrugged. “I just found it on the floor. It looks as though someone dropped it without noticing.” He flipped open the cover in search of a name. Instead of a name he found intricate and beautiful sketches of himself and his friend on the first page. Curiosity getting the better of him, Neil flipped the pages of the book, inspecting the several sketches of him and his friend, but mostly him he noticed.
“Woah,” those a really good,” Meeks commented, poking his head around Neil’s shoulder to look.
Neil placed the book on top of a desk, and they crowded around it as he flipped through the pages.
“That’s kind of creepy,” Pitts stated. “Whose sketchbook, is it?”
“I don’t know,” Neil said. “There’s no name in here. It just says ‘if lost please return to artist’.”
“What’s written next to the pictures?” Charlie asked.
Neil inspected the swoopy lines next to a picture of Todd. “It’s poetry.”
“Original?” Knox asked.
He shook his head. “No, this one’s Shakespeare. I guess it’s just whomever drew these felt fit the pictures.”
Knox flipped the page of the sketchbook to a page covered in sketches of Neil wearing his glasses, lines of poetry were scrawled between the photos. He leaned in further to read them. “These are all love poems.” He looked at Neil and smiled. “Looks like you’ve got a secret admirer.”
Before Neil could respond they heard voices in the hall.
  “We should go,” Cameron said.
The boys agreed and shut the sketchbook. Neil felt only a minor burst of a conscience to leave the sketchbook in the room where they found but as Pitts called that the hall was clear, and they sprinted out of Mr. Keating’s classroom he tucked it under his arm and shut the door behind him.
After dinner, the dead poets crowded into Neil and Todd’s room where they saw the sketchbook sitting on Neil’s bed.
“You took it?” Cameron exclaimed. “Now they’re going to know that someone was in there.”
“Relax Cameron,” Charlie said. “A. no one will know it was us and B. it was on the floor, whoever forgot it probably doesn’t even know where they left it.”
Neil opened the book again to a page with a picture of himself drawn beautifully in the centre and surrounded by flowers and lines of romantic poetry. “Don’t you want to know who drew all of these?”
“You only want to know because whomever it is, is completely head over heels in love with you,” Charlie stated and flopped onto Todd’s bed.
“I want to give it back to them,” Neil corrected.
“Sure,” Meeks said and gave Neil and wink.
“I’m sure they’re looking for it,” he argued. “If it were mine, I would want it back.”
For a week it was nothing but teasing as Neil searched desperately for the owner of the sketchbook. Neil had tried matching the handwriting with no avail, and then he began checking the art classes, he even asked Knox to ask Chris if she knew anyone who could draw well. She couldn’t come up with anyone that she knew had as good of skills os the one sin the sketchbook.
“Still carrying it around I see,” Charlie said as Neil walked into the study room where the rest of them were procrastinating their math homework as Cameron slowly became more and more frustrated that they couldn’t understand this one problem.
“Maybe you should just put it back where you found it,” Todd suggested. “Wouldn’t this person be looking everywhere they’d been recently to find their sketchbook?”
“Probably,” Pitts said.
Neil sat down at their table and placed the sketchbook on top of it. “Maybe I should put it back.”
“But?” Charlie prompted.
“But these drawings are really good, and I just want to meet whoever drew them,” Neil said.
“Well, while you’re deciding on what to do, can you take a look at this question?” Cameron slid the textbook towards Neil.
Neil glanced down at the problem before shaking his head and reaching for the sketchbook again. “I’m going to go put this back. Maybe if Mr. Keating is there, he knows whose it is.”
“Won’t he just then know we were snooping around his classroom without him there?” Cameron asked.
“Mr. Keating probably won’t care,” Meeks stated. “And I figured the question out.”
Cameron’s attention was immediately diverted to math as Meeks showed him the solution.
“Do you want me to go with you?” Todd asked.
Neil shook his head. “I’ll be back soon anyway. Mr. Keating probably won’t even be there, and I’ll just put it on his desk.”
Neil left the room and wandered down the near empty corridors of Welton until he reached Mr. Keating’s classroom. The door was once again unlocked, and Neil stepped inside. It was dark in the room except for the fading sunlight streaming through the windows.
Neil called out for Mr. Keating but received no response. Just as he suspected Mr. Keating wasn’t there. He walked up to the front of the classroom and placed the sketchbook on the desk just as the door of Mr. Keating’s office opened. He looked up and saw a girl standing in the open doorway.
She glanced down at his hand that was still holding the corner of her sketchbook. “You found it,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
  “This is yours?”
She nodded.
Neil picked the book back up and held it out to her. She grabbed the book hurriedly and tucked it up against her chest.
  “You’re really talented,” Neil said.
  “Thanks,” she muttered.
“Can I ask when you drew all of those? Those ones of my friends and I?” She blinked widely at him. “I sometimes sit on the lawn by the trees where you never notice me and draw you guys as you study outside. I hope you don’t mind. I just find it’s best to work with real—”
“It’s fine,” Neil interrupted her rambling. “I really like them.”
They fell into a bout of silence as they stared at each other.
“The poems,” Neil started. “Are they a reflection of your feelings or are they just things you like?”
“Both,” she replied.
  “What’s your name?”
“Y/N.”
“I’m Neil.” He held out his hand for her to shake it.
She shook his hand, her fingers cold against his warm ones.
“How come you’re here inside Welton?”
“Mr. Keating is my uncle,” she answered.
“Oh, so that’s why we found your sketchbook in here,” he said.
“I have to go,” y/n said. “They don’t want me spending a lot of time in here.” She walked past Neil, towards the door to the classroom.
“Wait.” Neil ran after her, meeting her at the door where she had stopped for him. “Can I see you again?”
She nodded, her lips slowly creeping into a shy smile.
  “This weekend?” he asked.
She nodded again. “I’ll leave the address with my uncle.”
Neil nodded, face hot, and watched as y/n turned and left the classroom. He let out a sharp breath of air as he left the classroom, shutting the door behind him. Only three more days until he saw her again. He barely knew her, but after studying the pages of her sketchbook for a week, he felt he did and he was looking forward to seeing her again.

Bookstore Meetings pt.2 (Neil Perry x Reader)
Tumblr media
requested by @hyperactiveravenclaw
summary: part 2 to bookstore meetings, you go on your date with Neil Perry at a local diner.
You hadn’t stopped thinking about the gorgeous Neil Perry since you had met that day in the book store. He was hard to forget, especially when you were going to see him in only a few short days. Unfortunately, the excitement of seeing him again wore down into nerves as the Horus ticked by and the days seemed to take longer and longer just to punish you.
Every once in a while you would catch a break from the nerves, successfully distracting yourself from your thoughts for a few hours as you got back into the swing of another week of school, but then his face would pop back into your mind, instigating a new rush of nerves that boiled up in your stomach. And the feeling only got worse the closer you got to the fateful day when you would get to see him again.
The morning of, you felt so nervous you thought you were going to be sick. You didn’t understand where these nerves were coming from. You hadn’t felt this way about seeing someone in a long while, but then came Neil Perry out of essentially nowhere.
You had to keep reminding yourself you were just going to the book store and you didn’t need to wear anything special, but the need to dress up get nagging you even after you settled on nothing more than a casual outfit in a similar sense of what you had on the previous weekend.
The weather wasn’t as nice that weekend, windier than the last weekend, but it didn’t bother you as you made your way to the book store. Like the previous weekend, the bell announced your arrival. You couldn’t see the man who ran the store, but you were sure he was somewhere in the maze of shelving.
You weren’t sure if Neil meant to just meet up at the book store in general or specifically where you had almost run into him the weekend prior. You didn't see him, so you wandered around, unconsciously making your way back to where you met the previous weekend. You were just reading the spine of some book when a voice interrupted you.
“I almost got lost trying to find this aisle again.”
You looked over at Neil. His brown hair was a little tousled, likely from the wind. “Hey.”
He smiled. “Hi.” He shuffled his feet. “Do you want to go grab a bite to eat? I don’t know where, so maybe you could show me your favourite place?”
You nodded. “Sure, there’s a diner just up the way. They serve breakfast all day.”
“Are you a waffles or pancakes kind of person?” Neil asked as he followed you out of the book store.
“Pancakes, what about you?”
He grinned. “I’d have to agree with pancakes.”
You walked down the street together, only a few centimetres apart. Your hands felt clammy and you both wanted to hold his hand and didn’t. It was agony.
You pointed at the diner. “This one.”
Neil smiled like a child. “This seems like a great place to have breakfast for lunch.”
“This is a lot less fancy than what you do at Welton isn’t it?” You furrowed your brow at him, starting to question your choice.
“No it’s not,” he replied. “But that’s what I like about it. Everything is overdone at Welton. This makes me feel like a normal teenager. I just wish I could feel like that all the time.” He bumped your shoulder with his. “Let’s go in.”
You entered the diner and were seated in a booth with red and white candy striped seats. Neil offered to take your coat off and hung it on one of the hooks by the booth.
Picking up the menu you inspected the options even though you knew you were going to order pancakes. You glanced at Neil from over the top of your menu. He was looking at his own menu, eyes flicking over the choices.
“Why don’t we share this?” You tapped the menu on an order of pancakes. “They’re pretty large pancakes and I can never finish them by myself.”
Neil dropped his menu on the table. “Sure.”
You ordered and shared your platter of pancakes drenched in syrup while you chatted about your lives, getting to know each other better. Neil told you about the play he was partaking in and invited you to a show even though it was two months in advance. It made you smile that he had already decided he was going to stay in touch with you long enough to see it. You talked long after the pancakes were gone and it saddened you that Neil had to go back to Welton shortly.
You exited the diner, Neil holding the door open for you. He walked next you as you headed roughly in the direction of his school. You didn’t think it was possible but he was somehow walking closer to you than before without touching you.
As you sauntered he grabbed your hand, lacing your fingers together. You dropped your gaze to your interlaced hands and smiled, looking up at Neil you saw him smiling too. The walk seemed much too short, but Neil had to go back to school.
“Next weekend same time?” he asked.
You smiled. “Sure.”
Neil bit his lip, stilling grinning and gave you a quick kiss on the cheek, so quick you weren’t sure if it had happened or not, and walked backwards away from you waving until he had to turn around so he wouldn’t hit anything.
Next weekend. You smiled to yourself. You couldn’t wait for next weekend.

What Quarantining with the Dead Poets Would Include:
Tumblr media
Requested by @theanonymousloser
Thanks for the request! This was fun to write. I hope you enjoy
• First of all, let’s set the stage… • Knox the hopeless romantic would mope around the house complaining about being unable to see Chris. Constantly wearing a blanket cape • Meeks and Pitts would be working on their radio and other “homemade” devices…things just keep disappearing and a couple days later they would show up again probably attached to something else. Good luck trying to find a whisk. • Todd would actually be one of those people who doesn’t mind quarantining, well, he would have been had he gotten the time to himself and not been surrounded by so many other people (i.e. like my friend who is the living embodiment of Todd) • Cameron would actually be trying to do something productive…actually does schoolwork • For poor Charlie this is a lot of time without a chance to socialise with more people or wreak havoc, so he may or may not wreak havoc around the house. • Neil’s now seen every Shakespeare movie adaptation there is. Will sit on the balcony just to be outside • Movie nights are a must to keep everyone sanity just a little, except now movie nights have moved to every single night of the week. You’ve definitely watched all the Lord of the Rings, all the Marvel movies, and all the Harry Potters. • Trying to get at least some exercise in from the laying around doing nothing turns out to be either 1. Dancing badly to very loud music or 2. You end up looking like one of those workout videos with all the people lined up attempting to the do the move. Your living room is not big enough for that • The baking craze! Who gets into it? Definitely Neil, Todd, and Charlie • You are inundated with baked goods “What’s this?” “Cinnamon rolls.” “We don’t need any more baked goods!” “It’s okay, Y/N. We have to eat our feelings.” • You often send Cameron out to the grocery store because he won’t fight it if you all gang up on him. Cameron probably doesn’t believe in covid to be honest. “It’s a scam guys” “Yeah, they’re just changing the batteries in the birds!” “Shut up Charlie” • You all haven’t stopped wearing pyjamas in weeks, you just keep rotating through different sets • Meeks probably read every book in the place • Pitts seems like he’d be really into puzzles “Who ordered all these damn puzzles?!” “I did! Leave them alone, that one’s only one colour. Cool huh?” • Charlie/Nuwanda does a LOT of online shopping. He just keeps ordering stuff no one needs “Here Todd and Y/N, I got you guys little whale tea steepers.” “Why?” He shrugs. “I saw it on tiktok.” • Neil definitely learned tiktok dances. “Hey, Todd look at this one!” “Neil, no!” • Binge watching shows with Knox and Todd • Knox spend a lot of time sleeping…so does Meeks. And Pitts. And Todd. • Cuddling because you’re all touch-starved from the lack of physical contact with other people outside your household.

Dating Charlie Dalton (Nuwanda) would include...
Requested by @nadianad1337
Tumblr media
• Charlie would be one-hundred percent into PDA. That boy does not give a damn about what other people think so same goes for when you are dating
• Always holding your hand
• Always touching you in some way, arm around the shoulder or waist
• Is not afraid to kiss you in public especially if someone else is checking you out. But don't worry he's never crazy, but he will definitely drop a quick kiss on your lips or cheek
• You've either known each other forever or it was a chance meeting. Charlie doesn't fall right away...you were definitely friends first
• Knowing all the DPS boys whether you want to know them or not. It's a package deal really.
• It would be a goofy relationship
• And a little chaotic
• Inside jokes
• Sometimes when he's being reckless you try to stop him, but there really is no stopping Charlie Dalton when he's got his mind set on doing something.
• Although, Charlie can quote Shakespeare wonderfully, it wouldn't fool you, he has written you a few lines/poems
• He likes to take you on dates
• Movies dates, picnic dates, dinner dates, all the dates
• Charlie is very brave and he tends to hide his feelings especially regarding things that hurt him, but he always confides in you. For a long time you were the only person you knew who'd been allowed to see him absolutely broken and crying
• Charlie needs more comfort that he lets on. Holding him in your arms as he cries or rants
• He hates being upset. He hates being vulnerable but you don't let him feel vulnerable when he is upset
• Charlie likes cuddles...definitely
• He loves it when he can rest your head on his chest, arms wrapped around him. His arms around your waist.
• If you don't attend Welton...
• Then there would definitely be sneaking: sneaking in, sneaking out etc.
• Charlie has on more than one occassion followed Knox's lead and just shown up at your school and you've been snuck into Welton, though that was much more difficult to accomplish
• Charlie likes to kiss your hand when he can't attack your mouth with a flurry of kisses. He'll casually press a kiss to the back of your hand while you're together. It's reached the point where he doesn't notice he does it anymore it's just habitual.
• He definitely rubs your hand with his thumb when you two are holding hands. You adore it.
• Sitting on his lap even when there are extra chairs around
• Pulling him by his school tie for a kiss. (I have a feeling he would love this and it would 100 percent be an instant turn on for him)
• The fact is, Charlie would adore you and you would be happy
My sister says he'd be the best one to date because he'd be fun

Bookstore Meetings pt. 1 (Neil Perry x reader)
Tumblr media
requested by @hyperactiveravenclaw
Summary: Reader doesn’t go to Welton and meets Neil Perry in  a book shop.
You had been stressed out from school for a couple weeks now. You had several large exams and assignments due, but now that was over and you had the weekend to yourself. It felt strange having time off after being so busy, but you weren’t going to complain.
It was finally sunny out after all the cloudy and gusty grey days and you decided it was in your best interest to get some fresh air after being cooped up studying for the past few weeks.
You hollered goodbye to your family and headed out into the bright sunlight of the day. After wandering around outside for a bit, you decided to take a detour into town to go check out one of your favourite stores, the book store. You hadn’t had much time for reading due to school and you thought you would reward yourself with a new novel for the weekend since you finally had the time to actually sit down for a few hours and invest yourself in a book.
The door creaked on its hinges as you stepped into the book store. It sold new and used books, but it always smelled ancient and dusty. You walked past the clerk, waving at the man as you passed. He smiled at you, recognising you immediately.
You disappeared into he depths of the book store, not sure exactly what you were looking for and positive you wouldn’t exit for at least an hour.
The book store was never busy, sure there were other people who frequented the establishment, but you were still shocked when you rounded the corner and found yourself face-to-face with a boy you’d a) never seen before and b) was super handsome.
“Hi-uh-sorry.” You took a step back, giving yourself some distance from the beautiful stranger.
“Hey.” He smiled. “No worries, this place is a bit like a maze.”
You nodded. “That’s what I like about it. You can get lost in here.”
“I’ve never been here before but I can tell that it would be easy to get lost in here.” He glanced around at the shelves, before turning back to you and frowning at himself. “Where are my manners? Sorry, I’m Neil. Neil Perry.” He held his hand out for you to shake it.
You shook his hand. “I’m Y/N L/N. Are you from around here? I’ve never seen you at school before.”
“Unfortunately, I go to Welton,” he replied.
“My cousin’s friend goes there,” you said. “He seems about as thrilled as you do to go to a world class boarding school. Not that I blame you, I’ve heard stories.”
Neil grinned. “Yeah, I can imagine some tales get around.”
“Are they true? Is it really that bad?”
“Maybe, most of us seem to think so,” he said. “Anyway, what are you looking for in here today?”
“Nothing, just finished some exams and looking for something new. But nothing in particular,” you replied. “I come here a lot and just browse until something catches my eye.”
“That’s kind of what I was doing,” he said. “Well, I’m technically waiting for my friend to stop flirting with some poor girl, but I thought I’d at least enjoy my time in town if I was here.” He checked the watch on his wrist. “I better get going. I hope you find what you’re looking for today.”
“Bye,” you said, wishing your time hadn’t been cut so short.
Neil grinned at you again and slipped past you and headed towards the front of the store.
You sighed and began looking over the shelves trying your best to ignore the nagging feeling that you weren’t ever going to see that boy again.
Just as you slid a book off the shelf, Neil turned back into the aisle, his face a little flushed. You blinked at him widely.
“Y/N…” he said. “Do you want to meet me here again next weekend? Around this time?”
You smiled, face heating up. “Sure.”
Neil’s face lit up with a huge smile. “See you next weekend.”
“See you!”

Stars and Confessions (Neil Perry x fem. reader)
Tumblr media
Requested by @hyperactiveplanet
Summary: Neil confesses his feeling to a girl on the roof of Welton. Probably super cheesy.
Note: Welton is not just a boys school in this for simplicity
Late was an hour ago. It was far past late now and you had homework that needed to be finished. But you didn’t care...not enough to leave now.
You were on the roof of Welton, the boarding school you attended. At first you hated it, but now you still hated it you just had friends. The air was cold, it was late September after all. It was the first night in a long time, well at least it felt like a long time, since you could see the stars last.
The sky was clear and bright, lined and dotted with stars and constellations. You imagined you could see the lines jumping between stars connecting the sky like a giant game of connect the dots.
Your breath blew out in a fog by your face as the night grew colder and soon your hands were numb. You told yourself you would go in soon, but every time you thought about getting up your mind wandered back to the stars.
“There you are,” a voice said.
You turned your head and smiled at Neil. He was bundled in his school issued coat, his hands jammed into the pockets. His nose was tucked into the neck of his coat, but you could see the crinkles by his eyes and knew he was smiling.
“Here I am,” you said, pushing yourself into a seated position.
“It’s awfully cold, what are you doing out here?” he asked, carefully crossing the roof to where you were.
“Just looking at the stars,” you replied. “How’d you find me?”
“Meeks said he noticed some nights you’d come up here,” Neil said, taking a seat. “I was asking around if anyone had seen you.”
“Hm,” you said with a nod. “Any particular reason?” you flashed him a smile.
He chuckled and shook his head. “Anything wrong with wanting to find you and spend some time  with you?”
“I suppose not,” you said with a smile before laying back down on the roof tiles and staring up at the sky.
Neil laid down next to you, you could feel his hand millimeters from yours. “What do you like about the night sky so much? I see you stare up at the stars so often that sometimes I think you’ll walk right into someone.” he laughed.
“I don’t know. What is it you like about acting so much?”
You felt him shrug. “Dunno. There’s just something about it that gets me all excited and inexplicably happy.”
“It’s the same for me with the stars.”
You felt his hand shift, your fingers were touching. Your heart pounded in your chest and you could feel your stomach jumping.
Neil sat up, his hand moving away form yours. “You know, y/n. I get the same sort of feeling around you...kind of.” He glanced at you over his shoulder.
You felt your cheeks burn. You sat up, and met his gaze. You didn’t know what to say, because you knew what he meant and how he felt and you really did feel the same.
You leaned in closer to him, until your face was hardly an inch from his. You could see the nervous twitch of his eyes before you closed yours and pressed your lips to his. His hands rose to cup your face. They were cold, warmer than yours you were sure, but they cooled the heat from your cheeks as you kissed.
Slowly, he pulled away, a grin blossoming on his face.
You felt your lips tug into a smile too.
“Can I kiss you again?” he asked and you nodded, leaning towards him eagerly until your lips smashed together. He kept his hands on your face and neck, as you slowly raised yours to tug him closer by the lapels of his coat.

Arguments (Charlie Dalton x fem. reader)
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous
Summary/request: Charlie x fem reader. Charlie and the reader (requested fem. reader) get into a fight and he says some hurtful things. Making up and fluff essentially
"I am not going to just sit here and watch you get expelled!" You shouted, arms crossed and glaring at Charlie.
Gods, you loved that boy, but some days you could not stand his complete lack of care towards the consequences that might come from his actions.
"I'm not going to be expelled!" he argued, tossing his arms up in the air. "I'm just trying to have some fun. You know how ridiculous the rules are here."
"I understand that," you spat. "But they are still the rules and you're going to get yourself into trouble. Hell, you'll probably drag the rest of us down!"
"Come on, y/n," he groaned. "It's not going to be like that. Besides they'll never catch you for it."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"
"You're like every teachers' favourite with your short skirt and your top that you never button all the way up," he stated loudly. "All you'd have to do is hitch up your skirt another inch and they'd forget you were ever involved."
"You're cruel!" You shouted, shaking with anger. "How could you say that?"
"I'm not saying anything that isn't true," he countered. "Maybe if you spent a little more time making yourself look the other girls in this school we wouldn't be having this discussion!"
You shook your head before turning and leaving his room. You heard him knock the books off his desk after the door shut behind you. You crossed your arms across your chest and stomped across the school to your own room, slamming the door behind you. You were grateful you roommate wasn't there to witness your fury. You flopped on your bed and chucked your pillow across the room. It made a dull thump on the door before it tumbled to the floor.
It felt like hours before the soft knock on the door pulled you out of your head.
"What?" you muttered, slowly pulling yourself into a seated position.
"Can I come in?" Charlie asked. His voice was soft.
"It depends on why you want to," you replied, crossing your arms.
The door slowly opened and Charlie poked his head through the crack. "Hey," he said. His eyes were red and you knew he'd been crying.
You frowned at him.
"Look," he began, shuffling into the room. He sat down on the edge of your bed and you retracted your legs and curled them up to your chest. "I didn't mean it. You're right I'm not putting enough thought into how my actions are going to affect me. But more importantly, I didn't mean what I said about you. Yeah, you don't button your shirt up all the way but neither do I and I shouldn't have implied that it meant anything besides your comfort. And..."
You pursed your lips. "And?"
"And I'm sorry," he finished.
You frowned.
"I really am, y/n," he said, his voice soft. He turned more towards you and pulled himself further onto the bed. His eyebrows were knitted tight together and he looked at you in sorrow.
"I believe you," you mumbled. "But it still doesn't change the fact that what you said hurt."
"I know," Charlie moped. "What can I do to make it up to you?"
A small smile tugged on your lips. "A kiss."
Charlie smirked. "Just a kiss?"
"For now."
You shifted onto your knees and leaned into Charlie, pressing your lips softly to his. He brought his hand up to your chin and slipped his hand up into your hair. You tugged him closer by his tie, which made him take in a sharp inhale against your lips.
You pulled away, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek before you did so.
"You're forgiven," you said, not moving your face farther than three inches from his. "Just don't be a prick again or I'm telling Knox."
"What's Knox going to do?"
"Probably lecture you on it."
Charlie chuckled and pressed his lips back to yours.
Note: really didn't know how to end this, so hopefully this is good

Just Try (Charlie Dalton x fem!reader)
Tumblr media
(not my gif)
Requested by anonymous
Summary: Charlie has an idea, Y/N thinks it’s a terrible plan. When he’s sent to the Dean’s office in trouble, Y/N decides she’s fed up with sticking by his side when he balances on the fence between expulsion and school. Also Neil is not dead, because no.
The library was quiet because that was what was expected. You sat at a table by yourself working through some of your homework. Normally you would sit with your friends, but they were too chatty that day, so you removed yourself to the library hoping this way you would get some quiet. You were, unfortunately, wrong. “Hey,” your boyfriend, Charlie, said, sliding into a seat across from you at the table. “Hey,” you said, not looking up at him. He didn’t say anything more, and you let out a quiet sigh before tearing your eyes away from your work and looked up at his face. He looked at her expectantly. “What’s going on?” you asked. He smirked. “I’ve had an idea.” “Is it going to get you in trouble?” “Don’t you want to hear what it is?” You rolled your eyes. “Sure.” After Charlie finished telling you his insane idea you turned back to your work and said, “You’ll just get in trouble, Charlie. I don’t want you to be expelled.” “I won’t be expelled,” he replied, leaning back in his chair. “Please don’t do it, Charlie. I don’t want you to get in trouble again.”
Despite your protests, Charlie went ahead with his plan anyway, earning him a one-way ticket to the Dean’s office. He’d spent a fair bit of time there the last few months. He missed dinner and hadn’t come back down yet, and night was drawing close. You wouldn’t have been surprised if he came down to his room with an order to clean out his things and leave in the morning. You waited outside Charlie’s room your arms crossed and your eyes set. “Waiting for Charlie?” Neil asked as he passed you. You nodded. “I take it you knew about his plan?” You nodded again. Neil was about to ask another question when he saw Charlie turn the corner. Instead, he turned and left you and Charlie alone in the hall. “Hey, Y/N,” Charlie said. His voice was strained, and every step made him wince. “You idiot,” you stated. “What?!” he asked, still moving slowly down the hall. You marched down the hall and met him halfway. “You never listen to me! And one day you really are going to be expelled!” Charlie sputtered for words. While no one was ever particularly happy with his antics, he had never had anyone yell at him for it. “Do you think it’ll be funny when you’re dragged from this school?” you asked. “Do really think your friends will forgive you for getting expelled with something you could have avoided? Do you think I’ll forgive you?” “Y/N…” Charlie started. “No,” you said, shaking your head. “I can’t deal with this right now. Goodnight, Charlie.” You walked past Charlie and left the hall. You felt his eyes on you as you walked away. You turned the corner and leaned against the wall as tears bubbled at the corners of your eyes. You’d been dating Charlie for a little while know, but you’d known him for a long time and you stood by his side for every reprimand and demerit he received, but there was a point where it hit you that every demerit he got, he got closer to expulsion. And although it was your last year at Welton, you couldn’t stand the thought of him being expelled. He was often the reason your life at Hellton wasn’t so terrible and lonely. Your back slid down the wall as you cried into your hands. You knew it would have been better just to go to your dorm room, but you had a roommate and there were few places you could be alone. You knew you weren’t exactly being quiet, but you didn’t think anyone would actually hear you. “Y/N,” Charlie said softly. You pulled your head out of your hands. “What?” “I’m sorry,” he said, lowering himself to the ground. You saw him wince as he landed on the floor next to you. “I know it’s hard for you, watching me be stupid.” You watched him fiddle with his hands. “I know you don’t want me to be expelled,” he said. “I don’t want to be expelled either despite my actions. But I don’t know what else to do.” He stopped and looked at you, moving his hand up to wipe the tears from your cheeks. “I don’t know what else to do.” “Don’t do anything,” you answered. “Just be my boyfriend and do your homework. We’re almost finished school here. Can’t you just try not to be expelled for the next few months?” Charlie nodded. “I can’t make any promises.” “Please just try,” you pleaded. Charlie tucked a lock of your hair behind your ear. “I’ll try.” “Thank you,” you mumbled, leaning into his side. “But we will get in trouble if we sit out here any longer,” he stated, smiling. You laughed and pushed yourself off the ground. “Goodnight, Charlie.” “Goodnight, Y/N.”

Hi! Would you consider writing "dating Knox Overstreet would include" but the reader being a female exchange student at the school? Maybe it's her and a few of her classmates (only very few girls)? And the boys all thought it would be only boys exchange students? yk him being surprised etc?:)
Dating Knox Overstreet
Tumblr media
Fem reader. School echange.
I did this as more of a story instead of just straight up headcanons
• You applied for a school exchange in your final year thinking it would be a good opportunity to meet new people and branch out a bit
• Only you and three other girls from you school got to go to Welton...ahem sorry Hellton
• You and your friends knew it was an all boys school...the boys there apparently did not realise the exchange students would be girls. They were shocked to say the least.
• Your first day was filled with a LOT of stares, so when a certain brown haired softie laid eyes on you, you hardly noticed.
• The day Knox saw you for the first time he knew he had to know you (because this boy falls hard and fast)
• Knox, although not the shyest of the DPS gang, had a difficult time trying to approach you. Since many of the guys in that school are so deprived of female interaction to say you and your friends were stormed is an understatement. He wanted to make a good impression...unlike Charlie who was flirting like there was no tomorrow
• It took nearly a month and a half for the the shock to die and the boys to start acting semi-normal around you and your friends
• After you four were left alone more was when you startes to notice Knox, coincedently, he sat near you in a few of your classes and you often caught him looking in your direction
• He was fairly attractive and sweet but you two hadn't spoken a whole lot, but Knox was determined to get to know you
• So, one day when you were studying in the library he plopped himself down next to you at the table
"Hi, I'm Knox Overstreet"
"Hi, I'm y/n l/n"
"I know"
• You spoke of your classes because he couldn't come up with any else to talk about with you. It was endearing how hard he tried to keep the conversation about school going for over an hour, but then it was dinner time
"Want to sit with my friends and I?" You asked as you packed up your school supplies to head to dinner
He agreed.
• After that dinner you and Knox felt decently comfortable around each other despite the fact he was now starting to enter many of your thoughts
• You and one of your friends joined the dead poets society when Knox invited you along one night. Your friend, who was your roommate, couldn't resist a late night adventure
• Once you joined the DPS you became friends with most of the group and you started hanging out with them just as much as your female friends
• It took several more weeks before Knox asked you out...it was a sunny autumn day in late November and you were sitting outside bundled up in your huge winter coat. Knox saw you from a window inside and ignored the teases of his friends when he grabbed his coat and wandered outside to where you were.
"Hey."
"Oh hi."
"Aren't you cold?"
"Not that much."
• If asked Knox would have blamed it on the chilly weather but he snuggled right up next to you where you were sitting. You sat out there and chatted until your hands and cheeks were numb. And as you were heading back inside
"I like you," he said, glancing sideways at you.
• After that day you two were essentially together but not everyone really noticed because Knox throwing his arm around your shoulders or leaning into you was typical
• Knox loves PDA but not like kissing in public etc. He loves being physically connectes to you
• If took nearly two weeks before Charlie asked if you two were dating. His logic, you were holding hands, which wasn't the worst logic. Holding hands was a new thing that started after his confession and you two started dating but it wasn't exactly out of character
• After that the gang of dead poets knew you were dating
• Knox wanted to kiss you the moment you told him you liked him as well but he held off. Your first kiss with Knox happened late at night when you were hanging out in his room. You were alone, but the DPS don't knock so they could have walked in. You were sitting on his bed facing each other and talking when during a break in the conversation he just leaned over to you and pressed his lips to yours
• Knox hadn't kissed anyone before (at least that's what I think). So to say he was nervous was unnecessary. But his kiss was gentle, barely touching your lips and his hands were hovering by you face and waist. You presses your lips to his harder than he had done to you and moved close to him so his hands were touching you where they had been hovering seconds earlier.
• Kissing Knox was like pausing time. He was always so gentle and careful with you and it was slow (at first at least)
• Knox is probably up for cuddling, especially when it's cold in the DPS cave
• Studying with him is not the best idea. You saw how he was in the movie when he met Chris, that boy cannot focus around you although I will say he does get better
• Not going to pretend he hasn't written poems about you for English or just for fun
• Being great friends with the rest of the DPS gang meant Knox on occassion got jealous. He's not a super jealous guy but if you get really comfortable with Charlie and goof off with him we're not going to pretend it doesn't bother him. But he's not obviosmus about it, though he will likely try and get his arm around you or when you leave he'll be a little clingy
• Knox and you are one of like the only couples at Welton so trying to keep your relationship on the down low doesn't really happen because it's so glaringly obvious
• But you two are happy
• Knox is sweet and caring and you adore him

hello! i'm so excited with ur blog we share so many interests UWU. i was wondering if i could get a dps ship if u might? i'm an infj, with vir sun/aqu moon/pis rising, and slytherin. i'm a pretty reserved person, but not shy, and can stand up for myself and opinions any time of the day, i actually am pretty opinionated about lots of subjects. i'd consider myself a history nerd and nature/animal lover. i adore fantasy/fiction books. my other interests are all over the place, i just get bored very easily and then try to find something absolutely new to do and get hyper fixated w/ it for a while. bc of that i kinda can talk about anything. so many diff infos in my brain. i listen to all type of music and i'm also very short-tempered and might have some trust issues and a strong sense of self-preservation. oh i also really enjoy sports. most of it. just gets me thrillied. abt looks i'm 5'7 with very long dark hair and brown eyes. thank u!!!
I ship you with Charlie!
Tumblr media
At first Charlie wasn’t exactly interested in you
he had seen you around, yes and you’d had classes together but he never really noticed you
that was until another classmate started arguing with you and you got very loud and very opinionated very fast -you being a little short-tempered let’s assume this was a conversation that would get you a little riled and this is exactly what caught Mr. Charlie Dalton’s attention
He hadn’t noticed you before this because you were so reserved, you hadn’t exactly drawn any attention to yourself, perhaps on purpose, but once this boy got a good taste of who you were beneath that reserved nature, boy was he hooked.
at first you only have little conversations about a class, a recent book you read, sometimes even lame small talk about the weather
you thought he was just being polite
until he asked you out
you didn’t exactly see where that had come from but to him it made perfect sense, you had been acquainted now for several weeks even though the conversations were often sparing, in between classes and such, occasionally outside of school hours and now that he had woven himself into your days he wanted to spend more time with you
while you have some trust issues and it takes you a bit to get around the idea that he may genuinely like you and want to spend time with you, Charlie has an ease about it him that it makes so easy to trust him
it doesn’t take long before you two are together after that
Charlie loves how knowledgable you are about several different subjects and doesn’t mind one bit when you get bored of one thing and hyper-fixate on an other, I get the impression he is the same way
Once Charlie knows you like sports, you’re immediately involved in any of the outdoor sporting (or indoor too, I never did see a gymnasium at Welton though, I’d assume they’d have one) activities he’s involved with
He just loves playing sports with you and then relaxing after and grabbing a snack, to him that is the perfect way to destress, especially when it comes to school things
I’m sorry this took so long! I hope you enjoy

hi! i was wondering if you were still doing the shipping imagines?
i would love to be shipped with a dps boy!
i’m 5ft and have jet black medium hair, i love playing my guitar and listening to music! i also love reading books and helping my friends!
Yes I still am (when I can, life's been a little busy)
I ship you with Meeks!
Tumblr media
Key thing, loving listening to music, that’s what made me think Meeks
The radio him and Pitts were working on was a secret to most people except the boys and Meeks kept it a secret form you so that when they finished it and got it working he could bring you up to the roof because ehe knew of your love for music
listening to music together on the roof and holding hands or cuddling was a common way for you two to spend time alone and away from the world for a little while
Meeks would dance with you if a particularly upbeat or dance-worthy song came on
Meeks would also love to watch you play along with your guitar to the tunes flying from their homemade radio
Like Meeks, you like to read whether it be for fun or for school
you bond over the novels you’ve read and spend time talking about them
Giving each other book recommendations
While it often appears that Meeks kind of just gets roped into helping his friends with their homework he does enjoy helping them with their homework questions and comments. Like you, he likes helping his friends
He tries to help you in any way you might need just to spend time with you and you likely do the same
Meeks’ strawberry blond hair is in a strong contrast with yours
he loves to play with your hair if you let him
Meeks’ is rather short and he likes that you’re still shorter than him by a fair bit, it makes you the perfect height for hugging and cuddling

Can i get a ship please??(the outsiders and dps)
I'm a libra female,she/they,5'3 with greenish blueish eyes,isfp,slytherin,like quiet places,drawing,monster drinks,lana del rey,horror,wear black clothing mostly,can be jealous,sarcastic humour,with glasses,and dye my hair a lot,loves hand holding<33
I ship you with Todd!
Tumblr media
At first it seems like you and Todd don't get along or at least not enough to spend time alone together
You hung out in the same group but you only conversed in the group and hardly spoke to each other when there wasn't at least someone else there
To Todd you were a lot like Charlie, sarcastic and always cracking humorous jokes that made the other dead poets laugh
To Todd, you are completely out his league
But it’s one day when you two are left alone together in the library you start to get to know each other better and you both realize how well you get along despite your initial thoughts
Todd always thought you were like Charlie he was shocked to learn how much you didn’t mind, even liked sitting in quiet spaces like he did
slowly over time you two began hanging out together, not alway talking but just spending time quietly next to one another doing your own thing
you would draw and Todd would flip through his homework questions, not really paying attention enough to answer them
As you hung out, talking or not, you grew closer and eventually the feelings grew too
Todd, who always liked something about you became shyer as he realized how much he really did like you as you spent more time together.
It was one of those day where you two were sitting next to each other in silence that you grabbed his hand, lacing your fingers together
You spend a LOT of time sitting together holding hands
You were surprised when Todd enjoyed the horror movies you showed him, even though you could tell sometimes that he was scared
Would help you dye your hair if you asked, but would be very nervous about it
I ship you with Steve!
Tumblr media
You intrigue Steve first and foremost
The clothes, the hair, the attitude, and the sarcastic jokes
You honestly seemed more of Dally or Two-Bits type
But one day at the drive in, Steve sat down next to you
A horror film was playing on the large screen, the screams of the victims and cheesy slasher music echoed through the field
Steve cracked a joke about the film and you looked over at him, a smile slowly forming on your face and Steve knew he was hooked.
Like Steve you are jealous which may have started a lot of fights but it also meant you always knew how the other was feeling
Steve is jealous of the attention Sodapop got with the girls, and you were jealous of the girls who did fawn over Steve even when he didn’t notice it
Steve is very much into PDA, so good news for you he loves holding your hand
And if he’s not holding your hand he’s got his arm around your waist or shoulders
Trying to draw Steve would be an impossible task because he won’t ever sit still, but sometimes you get the opportunity to capture him as he takes a nap or plays cards with Sodapop
Steve showing off for you
You teaching him how to be still and quiet and learn to enjoy the silence of it
He will laugh at every sarcastic joke you make even if it’s not as funny as others
unfortunately, being with Steve means you have to be friends with the rest of the gang, or fortunately depending on how you see this.
Two-Bit likes your sarcastic jokes just as much as Steve does

i love the knox dating thing ! can you do something similiar for gerard pitts? like he meets a girl who looks rather intimidating and mean but she's very soft for him and she is keatings daughter who spends a year at welton and like the boys don't believe pitts when he tells them but the reader is open about their relationship?
Dating Gerard Pitts and being Keatings Daughter...
Fem reader, looks like she could kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll
• Your father got a new job at some posh boys boarding school and when he told you about it, you were a little concerned.
• Your father, John Keating, had always taught at the school you attended and when he announced he'd be teaching at an all boys school, you felt a little betrayed
• But he had a solution. It was a good idea in theory, but being the only girl at an all boys school? Maybe not the best idea he's ever had
• But you didn't complain, you knew it was your last year of high school and if going to an all boys school meant you got to stay with your dad instead of being shipped off to another school, you would live with it. Boarding school boys couldn't be THAT bad. You were more shocked they were going to let you attend
• By the time September had rolled around and school was about to begin you knew they would announce the situation at dinner of the first day that there would be a girl attending Welton that year. The reason for the annoucement at dinner? Because the men running Welton didn't want to ruin their reputation in front of all the boy's families at the opening ceremonies (I assume that's what that bit at the beginning of the film counts as)
• You waited in your room...barely larger than a closet that you didn't share with anyone and was no where near where the boys stayed. At least you had your own bathroom. You figured you were staying in the quarters intended for a member of the kitchen staff
• At dinner you were brought in after the announcement and were sat at a table full of gawking boys. You rolled your eyes and ate your dinner in silence without paying attention to the boys at your table. Obviously, you were sat at the table with the DPS gang
• Charlie was cracking jokes, Todd and Neil were deliberately not staring, but the rest of them had a hard time not looking. It wasn't exactly their fault, these boys have zero idea of what to do around a girl due to the absolute lack of interaction
• It took almost a week before any member of the DPS tried talking to you normally, class discussion and whatever Charlie was doing did not count.
• Or for any guy at the school to really talk to you. You kept to yourself, did your work and didn't take shit from anyone, so to be fair you knew it was difficult for people to get passed your tough exterior
• It wasn't really their or your fault but you had a tendency to cross your arms and frown at people.
• You created a reputation for yourself at Welton as being mean and unapproachable. But you were sort of fine with it. It would also be nice to have a friend or two
• Pitts is not the shyest member of DPS but he's not exactly not shy either, but oddly enough you didn't meet him first. The first member you spoke with was Meeks in the library. He saw you sigh and drop your head to the tabletop and offered to help you
• Meeks was kind and you didn't mind the idea of a friend so you started talking to him more until you were eventually just sucked into the DPS gang and friends with the lot of them
• It was a little weird you befriended Meeks first considering he was one of the more timid members of their group and you had a sour look on your face about 85 percent of the time, but it wasn't your fault you had a resting "I want to kill you" face
• Meeks even shocked himself that he had gone up to you to speak with you because quite honestly he was afraid of you, but you were polite enough
• But nevertheless, you became friends with the DPS gang.
• Pitts was undeniably drawn to you especially as you opened up to the group
• You started to hang out and talk with Pitts more and more as you got to know the boys. You liked his sarcastic comments. You two's likes and personalities just seemed to click
• Pitts seems like the guy who'll kind of just naturally sling his arm around your shoulders, or because he's tall and if you are significantly shorter than him, there is a chance he'll rest his arm on top of your head. This of course did not fly, and everytime he touched you, you shoved his arm away distastefully. But deep down you really loved the feeling of his arms around you
• For a long while you two are aware of your feelings for one another but continously skirt around them
• I feel like Pitts would be the kind of person to pretty much ignore his feelings until you confess or he loses them so that's what he does
• It's agony for you. Everyday you think of him and wait for him to make a move, but he doesn't. You aren't blind and can tell he likes you too, so one day when you're hanging out with him and Meeks you decide to make a move
• They are working on their radio in the back corner of the library. No one else can really see you three so they aren't worried about being caught. You pretend to excuse yourself to go look for a book, walking to the next aisle, you find a book on the shelf just out of your reach (because likely you're shorter than him)
"Pitts, please come grab this book for me."
"Coming"
• Once you had Pitts over by you, an impulsive thought took over your mind and you tugged him down by the sweater of his uniform and kissed him. He blinked rapidly after you pulled away
"What was that for?"
"I wanted to."
"Really?"
"Yes, really."
• After that you two were essentially official and the whole DPS gang knew by the end of the day. You threw it into conversation so casually they didn't even get the chance to be at least a little shocked
• The longer you and Pitts dated the more he saw the sweet side of you. You were genuinely caring and considerate to him.
• You practically dote on him when you're alone
• All the cuddles. You were very cuddley with Pitts but only with Pitts
• While you were open about your relationship with Pitts and practically everyone at Welton knew about it you were still putting up your mean front
• Pitts tried explaining to the boys how sweet and soft you were with him, but to no one's surprise, they didn't believe him
• The closest you got to being soft with Pitts in public was letting him hold your hand or keep his arm around your shoulders
• Although Pitts is fairly kind looking, the intimidating girlfriend standing next to him did deter some people from speaking to him
• Most of the DPS gang was still at least a little afriad of you even though you were good friends with all of them
• Pitts and you would go for walks around campus and although they looked normal, Pitts revelled in the idea that only he knew about how soft you were around him and the gentle subjects you spoke about around him on those walks
• Pitts would definitely dance with you once him and Meeks got that radio going
"What are we going to the roof for?"
"You'll see."
"Is that a radio?"
"Yes, want to dance with me?"
• Because no one else was around you two slow danced, pressed together
• Pitts would give you forehead kisses both in private and public
• In public you would basically ignore the kiss, in private you wouldn't be able to resist blushing and peppering his face with kisses
• At one point Meeks walked in on you two kissing, he's a little scarred but he'll survive. You would have thought it was more than kissing the way he went on about it
• Pitts and you lay on your bed and whisper together, talking about romance and stars
• None of the other DPS boys ever really see the soft side of you, but you were happy to only share that with Pitts
