NAME: Prince Naveen AGE: Thirty OCCUPATION: Jazz Club Owner/Socialite  [ negotiable ] STORY: Frog Prince — IN SHORT  — Music, food, and women are the three elements Naveen needs for that lavish lifestyle. Opening his Jazz Club was the first step to becoming part of the community but there was another reason this carefree spoiled man decided to be an owner. Employing Tiana's restaurant on the daily, Naveen finds it's the perfect gesture for her to know. But as of late it seems the darkness they left in the homelands hasn't quite stayed there. He can feel it's pull because not even princes are immune to the whispers of the dark.

— HISTORY  — What his life was life before he ever traveled to that jazz sounding, party-loving little town. Pampered and waited on, Naveen was given everything with a silver platter while he sat up in his polished marble tower. Hard work meant nothing to him. Did he have a solid work ethic? No, why when everything was just so easy and right there for him to take? Living the life, Naveen emersed himself in the fun-loving and exuberant lifestyle of the rich and famous. A great big party every night. A redhead on his left, a brunette on his right and a blonde or two to hold the candle, life seemed just about right. His life philosophy was life was too short, he was on this earth to have some fun and that was just fine for him. Until it wasn't. Given the ultimatum of learning responsibility, marriage or disinheritance, Naveen was cut off from the lavish life he was so accustomed too.  But being cut off, Naveen never forgot the party. Everywhere he went women, drink and jazz followed. He flourished in it. But he was an easy mark. Dr. Facillier knew it. Targeting the prince, Naveen didn't stand a chance again the Shadow Man's charms. he just wanted out. Wanted to live his life how he always had, without responsibility or ties to anything. Care and Fancy-free to play his music travel the world and experience everything the world had. Little did he know that had a price. Transformed into a frog, Naveen was given the adventure of a lifetime--although he didn't know it.  Meeting Tiana was the first in many changes in his life.

When her kiss didn't transform him back to human, it became clear that while she might be as beautiful as a princess she was in fact not royalty. Not that it mattered. As they ventured to find the mysterious bayou witch, Naveen discovered there was a bit more missing from his life then he supposed.  Tiana was different from the countless woman he surrounded himself with. She was kind but determined. Hard working but funny. There was something about her he just couldn't shake. But even as he prepared to express his feelings things took a turn for the worst. The Shadowman alongside the darker, crueler Oppunger had gobbled up the lively and fun world around them. Imprisonment was not his best look, but with Tiana, by his side, Naveen was sure they could figure out a plan to save themselves. Finding a princess to kiss himself back to normal Naveen thought himself free. But he wasn't. It turned out there was a loophole.  Turns out love is kind of a big deal with voodoo. Funny thing that. But that turned out to be a bit harder to do when the person you love doesn't seem to feel the same way? In the mundane world and human once again ( for now ), Naveen is back to his flirty self but things have changed. Tiana might not feel the same way but a promise was a promise. He was going to help her get her happy ever after even if it didn't include him. Opening his own Jazz Club, Naveen found his true calling. Even he can't deny that the world they live in has its perks, a party every day of course. But something darker surrounds them. He can't quite shake the feeling that the Oppunger is far from done with him. What harm could a frog prince do anyway?
