Locker codes are usually released via the NBA 2K Twitter account. Some of these codes are permanently available for players, but there are also limited-time codes that players will want to keep an eye out for. These codes are usually only available for about a week, so grab them while they are up. In order to use these codes players will need to go to the My Team tab on the main menu. They can then scroll over to the Extras tab where they will see an option for locker codes.

This will bring up the locker code input screen and players can then type in any codes that they have access to. These codes are not case sensitive, so players can input them in all lowercase and will still be provided with their reward.  Players should keep in mind though that they must include any dashes that are in the code in order for it to work correctly Nba 2k21 Locker Codes Ps5. Once the code has been inputted, players will receive whatever reward is associated with that code.

One of my favorite things about MyTeam is how the mode is always evolving, whether it be through new cards that change the meta, or new content that provides exciting rewards. That being said, I have become very interested in structuring that evolution into a mechanism that you, our community, can really sink your teeth into. In NBA 2K21, we are going to introduce the Seasons concept into MyTeam. Let’s clarify one thing at the top; Seasons are free for everyone, there is no paid component to it. 

I have two key tenets to the MyTeam Season design for 2K21: 1) New prizing updates across most modes every Season, and 2) Add something NEW to the mode every Season. I’m going to be intentionally vague here so as not to spoil any plans, so please bear with me. Some Seasons will add new content for you to play (think something like Spotlight Sims), while other Seasons may add new features to the game, or add a reward twist that you will be chasing all Season. The main point is, I really want each passing Season to feel fresh. I want the start of a new Season to create a buzz in the MyTeam  2k21 locker code community that we can all rally behind and be excited about.

With the high level ideas out of the way, let’s dive a little deeper into what a Season truly is. While the duration of each Season is not a fixed period of time, they will generally be about six weeks in length. 

During the Season, you will be working to complete Daily, Weekly, and Seasonal-based Agendas. As objectives are completed, you will earn XP that will be used to raise your Season Level. Every time you level up, you will earn a reward. Reaching the final level within a Season earns you the grand prize for the Season. It’s going to take a lot of playing to get there, but we are always going to make the reward completely worth it. In fact, let’s talk about the Season 1 prize for reaching the highest level: Pink Diamond Steph Curry! A PD Steph Curry is going to be a beast to go against in the early game. All you’ve got to do is play to earn it. Interested yet?

Is NBA 2K20 Good?

   2K Sports is a video game company owned by Take Two Interactive and Visual Concepts. One of the video game series 2K is responsible for is the NBA 2K series in 1999. Since then, 2K Sports has released 21 NBA 2K games, with the latest game in the franchise being NBA 2K20, released in 2019. The NBA 2K games have gotten a lot of criticism over the years but I think this year’s game may be one of the worst games NBA 2K has put out since NBA 2K18. What makes this game so unenjoyable is the stiffness of the gameplay, microtransactions, and the dull and repetitive neighborhood.

   NBA 2K20 has the stiffest gameplay I’ve felt from an NBA 2K Game. NBA players in this game don’t move fluidly, and the only way to score is if you get a lucky animation (like a blow-by) or if you're open for a jump shot. Every time you perform a move in this game such as a jumpshot, dribble move, or layup, it feels more like a separate animation than a realistic and smooth transition. In previous NBA 2K games this wasn't an issue. The game felt smooth and realistic for the most part, but this year they definitely took the wrong path when it came to gameplay.

   One of the biggest problems I have with this series is the microtransactions when it comes to upgrading your team or player. Since NBA 2K13, 2K has had microtransactions called Virtual Currency (VC), so instead of having to work for your player or MyTeam upgrades, you could purchase VC to upgrade it for you. I feel it’s unfair that people can pay to upgrade their player instead of actually playing the game to actually get better at the game and earn your VC and Badges.

   The Neighborhood in NBA 2K20 is back from last year and the exact same. Since NBA 2K18, 2K has introduced the neighborhood instead of MyPark affiliations from NBA 2K15 through 2K17. The parks from previous NBA 2K games actually had something to it besides just basketball courts with buildings around them. Sunset Beach is where you could play in the sun on a beach, Rivet City took place in a small town with cloudy weather, & Old Town took place in a big city with many lights at night. These parks made the game fun to play since you could play in different environments if you want to. The Neighborhood just limits creativity with the environment and overall just looks like the people who designed it were lazy and didn't even try.

   I think it’s safe to say that NBA 2K20 is not a good game and is not worth 60 dollars buying. To be honest, I don’t think NBA 2K21 will be any better because 2K hasn't actually changed their certain features since NBA 2K17 such as the Neighborhood, and unrealistic gameplay. Also, having to spend more VC to actually get your player up than previous years, adds to my frustration with the series.
