NCT Faith is NCT’s the first and only girl sub unit in NCT. The group currently consists of 7 members: Leah, Aoi, JinJing, Sooahn, Samorn, Eunbin, and Minnie. They debuted on October 12, 2016 under SM Entertainment.

NCT Faith- Eunbin’s Birthday (Short)

“MERRY CHRISTMAS NCTZENNIESSS~!” The girls shouted.

“5, 6, 7, 8,” Leah shouted, bringing the cake to the table the rest of the girls were sitting at.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!” The girls shouted to Eunbin. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR EUNBIN, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!” They all cheered.

“Blow out the candles and make a wish! Hurry!” Soo-Ahn said. Eunbin smiled.

“Thank You!” She said and blew out the candles. 

“Wow, Eunbin is growing so old!” Minnie said.

“Hey!” Eunbin said, glaring at her while Minnie laughed at her reaction. JinJing poked her finger into the frosting of the cake and smeared it on Eunbin’s cheek.

“Happy birthday Eunbinnie!” She said. The rest of the girls did the same and soon, Eunbin’s face was all messy with the frosting. Eunbin sighed.

“Another year old...” She mumbled. Suddenly, the door opened to reveal the boys of NCT Dream. They entered the room singing happy birthday again to Eunbin. Eunbin hid her face behind her hands, her face red from embarrassment.

“Happy birthday Eunbin!!” They shouted.

“Thank you!” Eunbin said again from behind her hands. Jeno put the red reindeer head band he had on Eunbin’s head.

“There!” He said, smiling. Eunbin fixed it so her hair wasn’t messy and smiled into the camera in front of her.

“Happy birthday to me!” She smiled while the others laugh and giggle from her statement.

The Beginning Of Faith

The 7 girls walked into the practice room one by one. They all looked nervous and a little scared. They didn’t know what was going on just yet. They noticed the camera in the back of the room.

“Oh? Hello...” The girls all bowed when they saw the camera. One of them saw the little card that was placed on the seat next to the camera. She went over and grabbed it and opened the envelope to read it. All the girls looked at her.

“Congratulation girls! You guys have been chosen to be the next subunit of NCT!” She read. The girls widened their eyes in surprise. She then read all of the names and the positions they will be in. “You all will be the first and only female subunit! Now, one by one in front of the camera, introduce yourself to each other and get closer! You all will be in the same group for a long time!” She said. She looked around. “Who wants to go first?”

“Well,’ Another girl said softly. “Since you read it, you can go first and then we’ll go after...” She nodded.

“Ahh...ok...” The girl turned around to the camera and bowed. “Hello, I’m Leah...and it looks like I will be the leader of the upcoming girl subunit...” She read the letter again. Then another girl came up next to her and did the same thing Leah had did before.

“Hello, I’m Aoi..” She said. “And I’m not form Korea, so I don’t know much Korean...” The next girl stood up.

“Hello, I’m JinJing and I’m also not form Korea...” She said and bowed to the camera. 

“Hello! I’m Soo-Ahn and I’m from Korea!” The next girl shouted. The rest of the girls laughed.

“I’m Samron and I’m also not form Korea, but I understand Korean very well.” Another girl said calmly. 

“안녕하세요! I’m Christmas Star, Eunbin!” The next girl said and did a peace sign to the camera. The final girl stood up.

“Hello, I’m Minnie, and I’m the youngest!!” She smiled.

“Woah, you look like a bunny!” The girls said, looking over at Minnie. Minnie smiled.

“Cute!” Leah said and went over to pinch her cheeks. The girls laughed. Leah looked over the letter again and turned it around. “Oh, there’s more...” She said and looked at it closely. “There are many foreign members in NCT and some of them are going to be in this group. Have all the foreign members of NCT Faith stand up and one by one, have them introduce themselves in their native language. The rest of the members must guess where they are from.” She turned to the rest of the girls. “Ok, all foreign members stand up!” And she stayed standing up, while some of the other girls also stood up.

“こんにちは！私はあおいいです!” Aoi said and smiled as the other members looked at her confused.

“Wait, wait, that sounds familiar...” Soo-Ahn said. Aoi repeated what she had said before and Soo-Ahn’s hand shot up. “Japanese! You’re from Japan!” She said. Aoi nodded and Soo-Ahn erupted into cheers. The rest of the girls laughed.

“Soo-Ahn is a dolphin!” Minnie laughed. JinJing went up next.

“你好！我是金晶!” JinJing said. 

“Cantonese?” Leah asked.

“Uh...close...” JinJing said. Eunbin’s hand shot up in the air.

“Mandarin!” She said. JinJing nodded.

“Good job, Eunbin!” JinJing said. Leah went up next.

“Hello, I’m Leah!” Leah said in English.

“America?” Soo-Ahn said in English.

“Well, where I’m from it is in America...” Leah said.

“United States!” Samron said. Leah shook her head.

“Ehh...not really…” She shook her head.

“I give up, tell us Leah!” Aoi said.

“Canada!” She said.

“Oooohhh….” The girls all said. Leah nodded. Samron stood up and faced the camera.

“สวัสดี! ชื่อของฉันคือ สำราญ!” Samron said. The girls all started to think.

“That sounds familiar...” Eunbin said. Samron repeated what she said and Soo-Ahn’s and Minnie’s hand shot up in the air.

“Thai!” They both shouted. Samron nodded and they both cheered while the other members laughed.

“That was fun!” Aoi said. The rest of the girls nodded.

“I’m so excited!” Minnie added.

“Hey guys, I have an idea!” Leah said. The girls all turned to their leader. “When I say ‘We’ll bring the Faith’ you all say ‘NCT Faith fighting’, ok?” She said. The girls nodded. “We’ll bring the Faith!” Leah shouted.

“NCT Faith fighting!” The girls all cheered.

Black Dress M/V Making (pt. 1)

Summary: NCT Faith’s BLACK DRESS M/V making (behind the scenes) part 1

“This is the set of Black Dress’ M/V!” Eunbin said, clapping.

“Everyone, I’m going to have to say goodbye to my long hair,” Leah said. “I’m cutting it short.”

“Ok, goodbye Leah’s long hair!” Soo-Ahn said.

“I looked at the schedule and she’s getting it done at 4 in the morning?” Samron said. Everyone gathered around her, talking about how much they’ll miss her long hair.

[Today’s Faith Gossip: Leah will cut her hair]

“Although today will be the last time having long hair, I brushed it prettily before arriving on the set,” Leah said, causing JinJing, who was walking past her, to laugh.

“Hey,hey, cut it and make extensions-” Samron tried.

“No!” Leah said.

[Leah who’s having a hard time saying ‘goodbye’ to her long hair]

“Where’s this?” Samron said, waving at the camera along with Aoi and Minnie.

“Namyangju,” Aoi said. “Namyangju is where the set is, where we are filming the music video.”

“The first scene is the group dancing so...” Minnie started. “Fighting, everyone!” The other two girls nodded.

“Lately, it feels like we’re dancing 5 hours a day,” Aoi said. “What’s up with that?”

“My body memorized all the moves,” Minnie laughed, pointing to her head, causing the three to laugh.

[Saved in my head!]

“My body remembers,” she said.

“I can’t remember anything of my dance!” Soo-Ahn said, stomping her feet.

[Deeply feeling the pressure of her solo dance] 

“We were practicing and for the first time Soo-Ahn was like saything things like ‘I can’t do this’ which was really funny,” Aoi said.

[Director: Let’s go!]

The girls cheered.

“We’re about to film our first music video!” Leah said. 

[A real start with the dancing scenes...]

The girls we’re first filming the dancing scenes for the video.

“This track’s choreography...has a lot of head shaking moves so...it makes it very difficult,” Samron said. “I didn’t stretch my neck and I spinned my neck like this,” She said, trying to spin her head and imitated a high-pitched “grrrr” sound, “my neck made a sound like that.”

“I’m secretly monitoring...” Minnie said. “If you look from here, you can see.” The camera closed up on the monitor that showed the girls dancing. Suddenly, Soo-Ahn appeared behind Minnie. 

“Hey, JinJing’s down there,” Soo-Ahn whispered.

“JinJing?” Minnie squeaked, immediately hiding behind the railing from the balcony. Soo-Ahn looked down and did the same. The camera then panned down to see JinJing looking up confused.

“Woah, that suprised me,” She said. The two younger girls giggled to themselves.

“Who’s squeaking?” Aoi asked.

“Squeaking?” Soo-Ahn laughed which made Minnie burst out laughing.

“Ahh, walking up the stairs is so tiring,” Aoi said.

[Soo-Ahn and Minnie, the two squeaking mice keeps making squeaky giggling sounds]

“My name is Nakamura Aoi,” Aoi started. “And I’m part of a group called NCT Faith.” The rest of the time, the girls all did their dancing scenes, of course stopping to take breaks an dmonotoring their dances to make sure they were doing them at the right time, at the right pace.

[From morning to evening...the dance scenes are all finished!]

Leah held the camera in her hands, filming the rest of the members as they played around in the room, not noticing that she had forgotten to turn the mic on.

[In the evening in the waiting room and clearing out the venue, the kids filmed a self cam...but....they should’ve turned the mic on first...]

Then during their play time, a staff member opened the door and peeked her head in. The girls all stopped what they were doing and bowed, being polite.

After the staff left, the girls continue to play around and laugh at each other.

[what could the kids possibly have been enjoying this much...?]

Behind the girls, the camera closed up on a tired Minnie.

[Unnies...your younger wants to rest...]

[What are they even doing? looks noisy even without sound]

[Staff: we’ve turned on the sound for you now~]

The girls looked at the staff and camera confused and shocked that they didn’t notice the volume was off. It turned out that the girls were listening to other groups’ songs, including the other NCT units, and were singing along with it. Soo-Ahn and Aoi were both trying to dance to the songs too. The girls laugh.

“The choreo seems really difficult,” Minnie said as Aoi stumbled over her feet.

The rest of the girls continued to dance around while they wait for their turn, laughing at each other when they stumbled over or messed up the dance.

The girls will film their next scene.

“I’m scared, ‘cause I can slip off the pole,” JinJing said to Aoi.

“We should’ve had Soo-Ahn do it,” Aoi sighed. JinJing shook her head.

“Soo-Ahn is too young,” She said.
