does anyone know about the kdrama ‘the debut group’ (데뷔조) produced by 3Y corporation? does anyone know that former leader of trcng taeseon is in said drama? that minjae from nct universe: lastart is in that drama? can anyone hear me when i say i feel like i’m going insane?

idk if they ever had a debut date but they certainly had a disbandment announcement (the theoretical group disbands before they even debut how fucked up) and even after the announcement their socials are still active and are functioning business as usual.

were they ever meant to debut? idk, i certainly thought they were. (i mean 3Y also produced the girl group qwer and they too started out with a drama before debuting as an actual group) they posted solo covers to showcase the guys’ voices, had livestreams to talk to us, did/are still doing dance challenges, they even held a logo competition to decide what the group’s official logo would look like. if they were never meant to debut, then what was all of that for. i legitimately have no idea what 3Y has planned for these guys, especially since they just “finished” the drama. and 3Y has the audacity to act like there’s a sliver of hope that they might actually debut

(for anyone curious about watching the drama it’s 16 episodes with a 15-20 min runtime per episode and here are the content warnings for the show: fatphobia, ableism, xenophobia, bullying/hazing, violence, smoking, and strong language; in my opinion nothing ever gets super graphic but viewer discretion and such)

EDIT: I actually have no clue if they are being produced by 3Y corporation or if ym entertainment is an actual company. been getting some mixed information on whether ym is a fictional agency or not. idk but either way point still stands i have no clue what the agency has planned for these guys and would really appreciate it if they just told us whether the guys will be an actual group or not
