Callan Archer as Roy Harper/ Red Arrow. 

Callan would have gone as the Green Arrow if it wasn’t the fact that he preferred Red over green. So therefore he decided that his next option was Roy Harper. He would have gone as Thea Queen if Roy didn’t exist.

Lilith Zhou as Mulan

Lilith always looked up to Mulan while growing up. She portrayed a strong Chinese woman, that she could look up to.  

Most Halloween’s Lilith doesn’t get involved in dressing up, but this year she decided to get involved. Why not as Mulan? Her costume stems mainly from the original movie but she also takes some creative license from Once Upon a Time’s Mulan played by Jamie Chung, because she too had a crush on Princess Aurora.

♠ —— RUBY DIXON :: ELEVEN / STRANGER THINGS

ruby has a shaved head of course, so she decided to make use of it. last year she went as the legendary skater ghost, putting minimal effort in her costume by using a bed sheet, one of her brother’s snapbacks, her skateboard and a pair of sunglasses. this year however, she has put some more effort into it, actually ordering the exact yellow t-shirt that eleven wears in stranger things (it was cheaper than having to order a whole outfit).

some key details ruby added for extra eleven-vibes are a bloody nose, just a line created with fake blood. And the attempted to walk around with bare feet the whole day, but it was too cold and she had to put on her platform dr martens. but they weirdly fit the costume. she also created some extra dark circles around her eyes with makeup.

♡ —— MARI CHOI :: SANDY OLSSON / GREASE

mari loves classics, she used to watch them with her nanny as a kid. they remind her of happy times. grease is one of her favourites. until she came to camp she never really celebrated halloween. as the daughter of a rich diplomat it was deemed ‘too dangerous’ to go out and go trick or treating. her dad also never saw the point in dressing up, so she never was allowed to buy costumes, or even make some.

since she has arrived at camp she has made it her mission to dress up as one of her favourite characters from her beloved classics. last year she went as vivian from pretty woman, and the year before as juliet from the 90s version of romeo and juliet.

✧ —— AVI MELROSE :: CHER HOROWITZ / CLUELESS 

avi loves anything 90s. she also has a lot of yellow clothes already. really, the only thing she needed to buy for this costume was the blazer and the skirt (she had a similar skirt, but she needed them to match) and the shoes, since she spends most of her time wearing boots and sneakers.

avi is obviously very different from cher personality wise. but channeling her inner cher was pretty fun. and so was proving that she could pretty much quote clueless line by line.

♜—— KIRAN AMBANI :: SON OF HADES

kiran’s room is both messy and tidy. it’s really just because he doesn’t have much stuff in there, but what he has is often messy. all of his belongings from before he left camp for a year were thrown out or given away when he was assumed to be dead. all he has in his room now is mostly thrifted and old. or found by the road, like his very worn out rug that zeke has grown very attached to. half his clothes are usually found on his very messy bed, and he often forgets to open his curtains which give the already dark room a gloomy vibe. other things that are found in his room are half empty coffee cups with forgotten coffee; his record collection that he started during his roadtrip; the broken record player he found for practically free in a thrift store and had fixed by the hephaestus cabin; and a bunch of gemstones he has summoned over the past two years. not pictured: his sword which he has usually lying somewhere under his bed.

Callan’s Room

Callan’s room:

Callan tends to sleep on the dark red bean bags that he has in his room rather than the bed under the blankets and duvet that he pulled off his bunk. His bed is often covered with papers of planning for Capture the flag and weapons. He has a black chest under his bean bags which houses his bow and quiver. He has a family photo of his mum, he and twin. He also sports an Irish Flag on one of the walls. Unlike his bed. His desk and chest are rather neat and tidy.
