Šahovski savez Srbije obeležio  jubilej – 75 godina od svog osnivanja

U RTS Klubu u Beogradu, u prisustvu velikog broja zvanica i gostiju, Šahovski savez Srbije (ŠSS) je 19. septembra proslavio jubilej – 75 godina od svog osnivanja. Bili su prisutni predstavnici Ministarstva sporta, Sportskog saveza Srbije, Sekretarijata za sport i omladinu grada Beograda, Opštine Stari Grad, Šahovskog saveza Republike Srpske, teritorijalnih saveza, šahovskih klubova, veliki broj prijatelja ŠSS i ljubitelja drevne igre, kao i veliki broj medija. Na samom početku, posle intoniranja himne Republike Srbije, prisutne je pozdravio i poželeo im dobrodošlicu Dragan Lazić, predsednik Šahovskog saveza Srbije. On se zahvalio svima koji pomažu u projektu povratka srpskog šaha na stare staze uspeha, podsetio je prisutne na najznačajnije dogadjaje i projekte u kojima je ŠSS učestvovao i upoznao ih sa planovima za budućnost. Detaljnije o svemu što se dešavalo u proteklih godinu dana prisutni su mogli da vide u 10-minutnom filmu koji je pripremio Marko Maksimović. Na svečanosti su govorili i pomoćnik ministra sporta Republike Srbije dr Mirko Kantar i član gradskog veća Opštine Stari Grad Nedeljko Jovanović, legenda svetskog i srpskog rukometa. Obojica su pozdravili i pohvalili rad Šahovskog saveza Srbije u proteklom periodu i poželeli nove uspehe u predstojećim takmičenjima. Kao i svake godine, proslava Dana Šahovskog saveza Srbije je i prilika da oni najzaslužniji dobio i zahvalnice. Zahvalnica za izuzetan doprinos razvoju šaha u Republici Srbiji dodeljena je Miloradu Kapelanu iz Vršca i Marijanu Stričeviću iz Beograda. Zahvalnica za nesebičnu pomoć i podršku razvoju šaha u Republici Srbiji dodeljena je kompaniji Telekom Srbija, MojKiosk grupi i Integralteniku. Zahvalnice za medijsku podršku i dugogodišnju saradnju dobili su Radio-televizija Srbije, Radio-televizija Vojvodine, Dnevnik – Novi Sad, Radio-televizija Tesla, kao i novinari koji su ceo radni vek radili na promociji šaha Marjan Kovačević i Miroslav Nešić. Kompletnu manifestaciju je ulepšao kulturno-umetnički program koji su priredili majstor frule Vlada Baralić i Dušan Petrović na harmonici.
