negai kanae tamae had a pretty good start but i enjoyed it only up until the main pair started having their awful unfulfilling unrequited sex. it is the worst sex i have seen in a yaoi manga (thus far)

spoiler alert>>

the ending was too convenient. it left unanswered questions like if yuusuke can't stop himself from wanting fukami, is he going to try to start a sexual relationship with him again?? is fukami still homophobic even with amnesia? it felt like a rushed ending, as if the author had to say "i'm not sure where i'm going with this."

all of fukami's character development went out the window. the entire story beforehand was a waste of time.

i found myself wishing this was instead focused on kudo, who is devoted and loyal to fukami and doesn't need his boss to be a blank slate in order to protect and care for him.
