SHES DONE SHES DONE !!

#txt #nendo.txt #my ocs #my art #i Did just finish this and then send it basically everywhere i physically could #no restraint . was gonna take like actual pictures outside in nice daytime lighting tomorrow and i just couldnt wait #LOOK AT HER !!! SHES REAL !!!#this took me so long haha but i had fun the Entire time #im gonna make a custom stand for her i think cuz i did not buy one with the parts #but thatll come later cuz i want to work on like digital art again ive been neglecting it #finished it just in time too cuz the weather is about to get too cold for my sealant #im so happy :D #i have more pictures in white light from my string lights but #shes up against my clock which has these weird like cherubic figures and its Strange. weird object i own #that stays with me #so you get vaguely yellow lighting #but AHHHH YIPPEE #special thanks to my friends for encouraging me every time i sent progress pictures for like 2 weeks :'D #i dont really post my oc art anymore for a few reasons but ill post this

#txt #tbd #nendo.txt #actually got the email like right after posting the last post hdlfjrlrh #they shipped this morning apparently . but i manifested the notif i guess m #ive been Metaphorically pacing like a wild beast since i placed the order .#antsy to just get my hands on em #also i hate sending email i wanted to send a reply cuz they actually #sent me a very nice message warning me that the pieces i bought were all different skin tones and that they #would do their best to get a neck peg in the middle so itd blend a little #and i was like ohh no no its fine !! im gonna be repainting from white !! thanks for the concern Aa #i dont want to clutter their inbox tho chz like it already shipped they probablt dont need that message but #idk wanted to thank them for being thoughtful .#like yeah ik theyre all different skin tones none of them even remotely match hers anyway #i just needed the right Shapes . i can repaint but i can only modify plastic so much myself lmfao #its funny makijg a tag of me making her because the only ppl here who know about her are my irl friends aha #i dont rly oc post . shes my profile pic tho

everyone ignore how bad the picture quality is here ok my lighting is bad

Anyway. look how huge of a difference sealant layers make ???

#txt #nendo.txt #the first two are on the same layer of sealant and the third picture is after sealing and drawing on top of layer 1 #the pigment difference ????? all the same pencils #also ik parts of it look a little wonky but im trying not to get in my head about it cuz its my first attempt at this !!#also because ive noticed when i watch custom vids the eye shines and pupils really make the face up #so im not too worried . if the face doesnt look too lopsided at a glance its kind of fine #plus her hair will be covering a lot of it to be honest #the eyebrows are painted on i might do another paint layer too but i havent decided!#theyre also lopsided haha but IDK i like asymmetry in my designs why not

sealing seems to have gone well!!!! will have to see how workable the face is tomorrow :3 other than drawing on the face which will need several layers of sealant, this should be the last time i have to seal them !!

#txt #nendo.txt #well i might go back and do another coat on some of the dark brown parts cuz they could go a bit more matte #and i may find that ive missed a spot or something? i wont be messing with the figure a ton so scraping shouldnt be a huge worry #but otherwise the only thing that ill be using pencils on is her face everything else is finished as long as the coat looks nice #^-^

a few tiny little things i did today to get ready for my first sealing layer !!!!

YIPPEE #i finished everything i need to to be able to seal it next time the weather is nice #which may be tmrw!#rahhhh ehfjrjfkfj #her little freckles... theyre SO small you dont even know. i had to fully wet my smallest brush and squish it into a point #i am also fond of the little sunflower #these things are TINY so all the little details are cute to me qwq and they took so much patience to get right auh #BUT . yippee. im so excited #the seal will make them more matte so they wont be so damn glossy LOL #😵‍💫 <- rhis guy has been my best friend lately lots of use out of it. how ive been feeling #things r so difficult but its GOOD ans Fine #hi guys

just sprayed all my parts with sealant so ill be able to start painting tomorrow !!! never done it before so im hoping it works alright 😵‍💫

#txt #nendo.txt #had to get all geared up . respiration mask gloves goggles etc #had to do it today cuz snows coming in starting tomorrow and i would hate to not be able to do anything for tbe next week #but its nervewracking cuz ive never done it before so i wont know if i did it ok until tomorrow #tried to follow all the tips ive seen but these are tiiny pieces so trying to avoid overlapping strokes is hard #and i also dropped a couple in the dirt and had to clean them off... ermmm .. well it was the only place i could spray #really hope it works ok #thankfully this is the basest layer and im fully painting over all of it #need the sealant for the paint to stick but if it doesnt look the best at least itll all be covered up #and i have some experience now for the next layers ill need to do #which again thankfully the smallest parts will only need initial and final sealant #because I'm just painting them and not using colored pencil #the face will need several layers though. possibly the hair too but i think i can put the pastel coloring right on the paint #we'll see!#really just hoping it worked okay its fine if its not perfect cuz its my first project #but i at least want it to work and not ahve ruined anything ;#ahah #mostly worried about the pieces i dropped and potentially missing a spot or over spraying parts #its a learning process #and its a clear sealant so i cant like directly see missed areas #and since they have to dry partially outside im worried about them getting debris on them even with precautions #but ig all that matters is that im trying it and that i kept myself safe from the toxins #update theyre inside now and everything looks fine?? they feel matte and a bit gritty which is what theyre supposed to feel like #they need the rest of the day to finish setting but hopefully good?#i keep going into my workspace to look at them like 👁👁 as if theyre gonna like. idk. blow up

#txt #nendo.txt #its notttt perfect but im happy with it :)#gonna have to wipe it down and clean it up tonight to get the sanding dust off #and i just got my sealant so i will spray tomorrow and then!!!#like wednesday i can start painting!!#youll notice i didnt wipe off allll the paint! that's bc it doesnt matter a ton im using mostly dark colors #so itll go over the lighter bits just fine.#im very excited to do the painting and face up parts it all i want #i added big hair mods and added a sleeve patch and some pockets and such..#and she has tiny earrings!!!!#i was gonna mod her hair even more but im not very skilled with clay yet #if the weather is too bad to spray tomorrow i might #^-^

RAHHH I FINISHED SCULPTING MY PARTS !!!!

#txt #nendo.txt #no pics yet cuz i have to sand them down tomorrow #i did one round of clay to do the major changes (mostly her hair) then waited a day for dry time #sanded it down until it looked all nice n smooth ^^#then today i did some more intensive sanding and carving down to make sure the pieces fit together still .#added the smaller details... like her lil earrings and pockets and such..#tomorrow ill be sanding again! and then i just have to wait til tuesday when my sealant gets here #THEN I CAN PAINT!!!#im excited to paint them cuz thatll let me actually see how my mods are turning out #biggest thing im worried about is drawing the face on but i think itll be alright #ive practiced drawing on the eye shape once and it wasnt toooo bad #it left a bit of color smudge when i wiped it off though but thats on unsealed plastic #im excited for when my paint coats are done and i can add a bit of gradients and blushing with my pastels #im looking forward to that i think itll look cool #itll add another layer to the face but eh thats just how it is #i think ill add her freckles in that step too cuz i dont want to smudge them with my hands when doing the eyes #ANYWAY!! progress ^w^

the original body is from uhh a figure of nya/nners ??? dont know rly much about who that is but its the closest outfit to something shed wear. gonna have to cut off a lot of accessories haha. u can see the outfit im remaking in my pfp too actually

this hair is listed as riri ?? dunno who that is either but for sourcing reasons. she actually has a big ponytail im gonna cut entirely off and then use milliput to add some like. Hair bits. I think. ^-^ yippee

#txt #tbd #nendo.txt #i mocked this up on my phone over a picture of the face plate i bought for this project ..#this isnt gonna be her skin tone (see my pfp. lol) but i cant edit like that on mobile #so i just planned out how i think im gonna do the eyes and some other features i want to remember #i want it to be like mostly my style for the eyes in shape and shading but like #heavily referencing the proportions of the original obviously so it still feeeels like a nendo//roid #<- dont want this in any tags lol #brrrbrrr i wish i could have all my parts here already so i could start im very excited #im keeping my expectations low but i want to do the best i can #also i made a tag for this bc i might post wips if i get excited about them and now theres somewhere to block or view them #ive modified pics of the hair i bought and the body but theyre rougher bc i mocked up color there #and im not very good at drawing on my phone without a stylus Lol but i wanted something to reference #ANYWAY #actually painting and doing the face up is a ways out even after i get my parts #i need to make my modifications and prime them and do base coats etc #im gonna make her piercings out of milliput and i have to add and cut off parts to the hair and remove a lot from the outfit #gonna be cutting and sanding for a while!! lol! might be delayed depending on how warm it is outside too #cuz my workspace inside is not very ventilated so any sanding or use of chemicals will need to be outside #im very excited if it wasnt obvious fhdljeld

#txt #theres a site that sells parts separately .......#they come pre sculpted with clothes and hair i wouldnt need to sew or make doll wigs ...#i have xactos and sandpaper id just need some milliput probably ... some primer and msc ... i have paints and pencils ...#i could make myself figures of my ocs . do you even fucking understand how bad i need to do that #nendo.txt
