nepTUNE entertainment was founded in May 2019 by former girl group member and producer Oh Sieun. Oh founded nepTUNE with hopes of inspiring girls and women to chase their idol dreams and realize the potential of their individual talents. The company debuted their first group, a trio by the name of r3:vive, in February 2020 and is expected to debut another group before the end of the year. There are rumors circulating that nepTUNE has acquired the successful girl group Jewelry Box (also known as BSH) from their former company, Supreme Music.
