a goofy hc i have is that emmet's sweet tooth lead to at least one bad dental visit when he was a kid. the only way he would sit and behave ever since then is if ingo held his hand even while he was getting his teeth cleaned. he pretends he's fine now that hes a grown ass man but he sneaks a joltik in his pocket for moral support every time his yearly checkup rolls around

i love it. i have trauma from the dentist when i was younger cause they straight drilled my teeth without any strong numbing agents so i understand.

Emmet 100% was bawling his eyes out after having a cavity filled and poor Ingo now has to sit in the room with his little brother who’s acting like the moment he is left alone a dentist will materialise with a vengeance toward his teeth. Ingo hated it because Emmet would still cry and be overall unhappy. He wanted to comfort his twin, but he had to have his teeth cleaned. Ingo is just glaring at the dentist like a small, skinny eleven year old is anything close to scary. Emmet also requested Ingo pretend to be him to get out of the appointment. The older twin refused, of course.

He totally keeps a Joltik there was moral support. Poor thing feels what Ingo did watching their equivalent of a parent basically act like an electric tooth-brush and scraper are going to do any real harm to him. The Joltik also 100% tried to bite or use their web to restrain the dentist. It didn’t work.
