day 3, prayers upon prayers. happening today in my heart's home- South Central will be out in the streets honoring, uplifting, and building community marking the 50th year anniversary of the L.A. Uprisings. the events of today are a sort of paying respects to and building Upon the long history of lucha/struggle for human rights, justice, and dignity. movements bring life to the forefront of our minds, Spirits, cultures, to our media, to our on the ground community, everyone trying to live beyond survival. this here picture is one of my favorite flowers- Ollin Sage Coyote! my lil Life making a funny face for the camera, standing in front of the puppet mama Luna will be wearing today for the march down Florence @ Normandie. sending my prayers and light to all who find themselves out there today. I've decided to stay in to regenerate after a long week of work and physical exhaustion but my Spirit is right there with my South L.A.
