CBD Oil in India
Therapeutic weed may before long become legitimate in the nation with Indian researchers endeavoring just because to discover potential use for the dynamic fixings present in the cannabis plant in the administration of maladies, for example, tumors, epilepsy and sickle cell frailty. There are many websites that provide CBD oil in India
"Cannabis-based medications can possibly meet the neglected needs of critically ill malignancy patients and of those experiencing epilepsy and sickle cell iron deficiency, an inherited ailment that distresses almost two crore tribal living fundamentally in focal States, Ram Vishwakarma, Director of the Jammu-based Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), told a gathering of specialists and industry chiefs here on Friday.
"The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), of which IIIM is a section, chose to play a lead job in this as we are an impartial gathering and have no business predisposition," Vishwakarma said. The recreational utilization of cannabis is restricted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The bar doesn't have any significant bearing to an eatable readiness called bhang, which is permitted in certain States.
In June, the US Food and Drug Administration affirmed the first-historically speaking cannabis-based medication for the treatment of seizures related with two uncommon and serious types of epilepsy.
Settlement with scientists
The IIIM has effectively tied up with scientists at the Tata Memorial Center (TMC) in Mumbai, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and a Raipur-based emergency clinic to do clinical preliminaries for cannabis-based medications for the treatment of malignant growth, epilepsy and sickle cell pallor. Two dynamic mixes of cannabis that are being investigated for medicinal use are tetrahydro cannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).
"We are applying for administrative endorsements," he said.
Notwithstanding investigating the plant's potential in torment and palliative consideration, malignant growth pros at the TMC might want to see whether its dynamic mixes would be helpful in careful setting as well. "Assume cannabis can place the cells in the body in a 'condition of joy', as they do to an individual, and if a comparable impact is there on tumor cells as well, would we be able to utilize this condition of non-response to extirpate malignant growth cells," pondered Rajendra Badwe, chief, TMC. "No place else this has been investigated," he said.
Pretty much everyone smokes pot in India. We will all be captured. It's a vote based, libertarian weed cherished by marketing specialists, specialists, planners, sales reps, conveyance young men, auto-rickshaw drivers, cycle-rickshaw pullers, NGO workers, columnists, escorts, housewives, house spouses, armed force men, cops, teachers, school educators, train TTs, corporate slaves and honchos, legislators and, obviously, artists.
There are places popular for it: Kerala, Meghalaya, Manipur, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Mysore, even Bihar. It's illicit but its utilization is boundless. In Odisha, it is moderately progressively worthy and simpler to get. In Varanasi, at an extravagant lit fest that I was welcome to, bhang balls were served to delegates with a royal flair. It was a piece of convention and neighborhood friendliness, the law is doomed. Smoking society has developed in India.
There was a period during the 1980s and '90s when clients would purge out cigarettes, fill them, smoke them. At that point came cover thick Capstan cigarette papers and individuals figured out how to roll (unbleached dark colored paper is extremely popular at this point). In the most recent decade, pot smoking in India arrived at the tipping point. It's an indication of how inescapable and mainstream it is that extra large moving paper is presently accessible at pretty much every cigarette and paan shack, everywhere of the nation.

Smoking Up
This is the story so far in India. Shouldn't something be said about the remainder of the world? Think about the cannabis business as a dormant beast, delicately waking from its sleep. It has every one of the makings of a decent fantasy. Or on the other hand, one can adhere to a cultivating similarity, well-suited for a plant — seeds that have been lying lethargic for quite a long time are at long last getting through the world's surface. Those delicate shoots could be worth millions.
This September, South Africa turned into the most recent nation to authorize recreational use for individual utilization. Canada sticks to this same pattern on October 17. September was a decent month for pot all in all. In front of the approaching sanctioning, Canadian restorative cannabis organization Tilray's stocks saw, at a certain point, an amazing 90% intraday gain, before settling at progressively sensible levels following a day of unpredictable exchanging. Other pot stocks, as they are presently called, additionally observed an upwards pattern.
Shade Growth's offer value I s 300% of what it was a year prior, while Canada-based Aurora Cannabis is taking a gander at a US posting.
Aurora Cannabis' offers were likewise up in September following news that it was in chats with Coca-Cola to dispatch cannabis-injected drinks. In an announcement issued to the press, Coca-Cola stated: "Alongside numerous others in the refreshment business, we are intently viewing the development of non-psychoactive Cannabidiol as a fixing in utilitarian health drinks the world over."
Shelter Growth was in the news in August when it was declared that Corona lager proprietor Constellation Brands would pour another $4 billion (notwithstanding $200 million a year ago) into the organization. The two issued a joint proclamation that they can "now venture into at any rate 30 nations seeking after a governmentally admissible therapeutic cannabis program".
Also, the Corona-Canopy consolidate anticipates revealing a non-alcoholic cannabis-based drink, palatable bars, inhalers and pre-moved things. In June this year, Heineken's specialty lager wing, Lagunitas propelled two variations of "cannabis-imbued hoppy shining water". It is available in India but in some states it is not allowed. For that you need to check the state wise instructions. To get CBD oil in India vitamin B17 is the most trusted website.

Interview series - What after B.Arch? #12
Interviewee: Ar. Lolia Mary Post-graduation: Masters in Environmental Planning | School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, India
What prompted you to take up this particular program?
I felt the need to focus on larger scales and broader perspectives of development, to understand the dynamics of how and why we have different types of built landscapes across various regions. By the 4th year in my undergraduate study, I was gravitating towards learning more about natural systems and environmentally sustainable designs. Master’s in Environmental Planning was the most appropriate course, which fit my inclination and interest w.r.t scale and natural systems.
Tumblr media
When did you take up master’s?
I got into Master’s course immediately after Bachelor’s.
My advice is simple: if you have a clear inclination towards further studies and have examined why you need to pursue a master’s course and a preferred subject, I don’t think you should stop yourself from immediately joining a course. But if you are inclined to practising Architecture in the long run and do not feel the need to further your studies immediately then you might want to get into practice. This will buy yourself more time to think through.
When did you start with the application process considering the time for application, scholarship/bursary deadlines etc.?
I started enquiring and doing my research on the application process, subjects/courses, colleges etc. around the beginning of the 5th year of the course. Of course, towards the last semester in Architecture, it was more intense.
One should start researching, reviewing courses and colleges at least a year before (if not a year and a half). This will give you more options and enough time to weigh your options. If planning on taking up courses outside of India, then one might want to give oneself at least 15 months’ time so as to not miss courses starting at different times of the year.
What preparation did you do before starting master’s? I did some background study on environmental planning and prepared for moving to a new city. The school did not hold any pre-master’s programs/induction week/courses. I spoke to alumni and professors of the program.
Did you have to give any entrance tests? How did you plan for them?
SPA’s admission procedure at that time (2010) had two stages of candidate evaluation;
Stage 1) Detailed application form submission (Statement of Purpose, Portfolio-CV, and application form, Scorecards in Architecture and Scorecard of GATE exam)
Stage 2) Short-listed candidates are called in for a short written test and an Interview thereafter
Based on the results of these stages of review, the final list of successful candidates is put up.
It is ideal if you also qualify and secure a good rank in GATE; this will increase your points at the admission ranking and also help secure GATE scholarship.
How long was your program?
It was a two-year course. Courses began in July 2010 and ended in April 2012. Post-program opportunities were not available.
Did you have post-masters plans in mind when you took up masters? Or did you go with the flow?
My intent was to work in planning and environmental sector wherein I gain experience while working in all types of organizations (research-based organizations, government based, NGO, corporate etc.). I had given myself the flexibility for seeking job opportunities with an open mind initially, so it was easier to go with the flow. My idea was that I need to experience each type of organization to better understand how the sector itself functions.
How was the experience at the school?
It was quite rewarding given the exposure received especially to be able to hear and learn from pioneers, decision makers and change makers of planning and development in India. There is no stopping on how much one can learn because it is up to the individual to take initiative.
Even though at times chaotic with multiple perspective and reasonings, this chaos opens one’s horizon of knowledge and gives you the grounding required to understand planning and development in a developing nation like ours which is much complex unlike developed nations. This is my take.
Tumblr media
How was the teaching at your school?
The teaching was heavily anchored on in-depth research (within the constraint of time), brainstorming, discussions, group work and field work. This is important so as to learn; how to agree to disagree, resolve conflicts and evolve balanced recommendations considering multiple aspects. This skill is fundamental while practising the profession of planning as it is multi-sectoral in its nature of practice on ground.
Classes were a standard 9.00am-5.00pm, five days a week with occasional special classes during Saturdays. Yes, there was quality time for extracurricular activities.
Tell us more about the mentors.
All the faculty in Department of Environmental Planning were very approachable (they still are) and one could approach them at their department rooms freely and they were accessible except when they were occupied with prior appointments.
I’d like to especially remember and thank Prof. Aseesh Maitra, Prof. Meenakshi Dhote, my thesis guides Ar. Anita Tikoo and Asst. Prof. Neha Tripati Goel for their wisdom, inspiration, patience and endurance.
Were you involved in research projects/competitions while studying?
Partly, through our studio and department projects.
Could you tell us in brief what your thesis/dissertation/final project was about?
It was on developing a model framework to evaluate landscape for its functional capacity to perform ecosystem services.
What kind of dialogue did you have with your professors?
I had the best thesis guides I could ask for. Ar. Anita Tikoo and Asst. Prof. Neha Tripathi Goel were exactly who, I and my topic needed. They always asked the right questions and also encouraged and stirred me to ask the right questions. They were open to hearing my thoughts and provide excellent critique was truly involved as my thesis guides. I think asking the right questions and encouraging us to ask questions pushes one to seek answers ourselves and thus expand the scope of learning.
How was the structure of your meetings with the guides?
We had a structure and a tentative schedule with targets applicable to all students. But over and above both my thesis guides were available for discussions whenever I required, to review with them. We had discussions before the scheduled submission and presentation of the work.
Did you encounter any challenges while doing your thesis?
I cannot remember any negative challenge. Thesis is about taking up a challenging research-based topic which you try and engage with in-depth for the given time. And a good thesis topic shouldn’t and cannot end with the final submission or jury presentation because it would have a further scope of examination and enquiry.
Could you please tell us about the thesis assessment system?
We had intermittent presentation and grading through the various stages of the thesis semester. It concluded with a final jury presentation (external and internal jurors) and submission of the report.
How did you manage the finances?
Fully funded by my kind and loving parents as I hadn’t received any scholarship.
Could you tell us about your accommodation?
Stayed in the campus hostel. The hostel building was right at the campus and barely took 5 minutes to walk to the department.
Did you travel while/after studying?
Yes. As much as I could.
Through Architecture and Environmental Planning course, I travelled to Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Udaipur, Junagadh, Kutch, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Puri, Bhubaneswar, Varanasi, Sarnath, Nainital, New Delhi, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Bhopal, Batindha, Puducherry; with the intent of experiencing the city and architecture, some were part of the studio projects/thesis and some places were purely leisure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Are there any notable incidents/ anecdotes from post-grad studies that you wish to share?
I can’t think of any one incident. I often tell people it was so much fun learning and going to the classes especially because we were a small group of 12 students (12-15 seats in M.EP course) and luckily we synced and worked very well together through consensus and disagreements. Of course, all the campus extracurricular activities and travelling was awesome, thanks to a lot of friends from my B.Arch times who were also studying various Master’s courses.
How much one learns and grows is up to the individual. Professors and guidance can only show you the options and directions available and it’s entirely up to you to choose the path of your interest/capacity. And for that self-reflection is important.
Tumblr media
How do you think doing a master’s degree helped you?
Unlike many other courses which are focused on individual students and individual projects; planning requires persistent and successful collaboration across sectors and specialized professionals. Apart from the learning of the subject and the way it was taught, one of the important takeaway was, the first-hand experience of the strength of collaboration which enabled a smooth transition into the profession, especially in the initial years.
The university met my expectations to a great extent. The information about the course on the website reflected reality.
Did the city/country you studied in play a major role during your postgraduate study?
Yes. At least for Planning course, it ensured a sound foundation of the context (social, political, economic and environmental) that I would be working in for the next 7 years.
Could you please tell us about your current work and future plans?
I am currently working remotely as a consultant for a project and another programme run by an NGO. I am quite adaptive in nature, so my future plans are also very dynamic. My area of interest is applied research and hence I am open to any good platform that enables it.
What message would you like to give to students/professionals planning their post-graduate studies?
Well, whichever course one chooses, ensure that you know why you want to take up the course (for whatever reason be it professional, ideological, or simply self-growth). Do your research on the various options that you have w.r.t courses, universities and locations worldwide.

Those in age group 18-45 years can be trained by skilling program and provided with loans to float their business. Government intervention is mandatory to market their produces and providing treatment to disabled beggers and alternate livelihood to fit beggers wherever possible. BIBLE Talks about Beggery in India
And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was being carried to beg from those entering the temple (daily they laid him at the temple gate which is called Beautiful). He saw Peter and John about to go into the temple and asked for money. And Peter, together with John, fixed his eyes on him and said, “Look at us”. And he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk”. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
Acts 3:2-7
Sell what you have, and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves which do not get old, an unfailing treasure in the heavens, where no thief comes near, no moth destroys.
Luke 12:33

Building Women-Owned Institutions
Tumblr media
WHY WOMEN EMPOWERMENT?
Gender-discrimination curbs women from achieving their best and stands in the way of living a life free of domination and fear.
Stimulate the confidence in women by providing them opportunities to see the skills that they contain and are dormant within them. Better education and awareness enables them to take advantage of income-earning opportunities and support their families.
Sampark believes that women who are underprivileged can improve their living conditions only when they realise their potential and become self-reliant.
WHAT SAMPARK DOES TO EMPOWER WOMEN
Sampark: Women Empowerment NGO in Bengaluru works towards enhancing the voice of women, with the philosophy that all women, men and children have the basic human rights to dignity and self-determination, and that all people should have the opportunity and choice to enhance their own potential and well-being.
Work with 7,000 low-income women, devadasis (deprived of human rights) in Koppal, Karnataka through the Self-Help Group (SHG) model. The SHGs are federated into 3 Self Reliant Cooperatives, registered with the government of Karnataka
Work with 900 low incomes, scheduled caste rural women (socio-economically disadvantaged) in Chiraigaon Block, near Varanasi, UP in creating sustainable livelihoods.
Interventions
Training & Capacity-Building
Koppal
Self reliant credit cooperatives of rural women manage the day to day functioning as well as governance activities on their own, with capacity building support from Sampark. They have nearly 7,000 members across 60 villages who deposit savings and avail credit for income generating activities. The cooperatives have the capacity to liaise with local governance structures to avail support. The other women are in completely independent SHGs that are able to link to government programmes and avail credit and other forms of support.
Varanasi
The women are trained to run their own Self Help groups, and manage their accounts. They are encouraged to be more confident, mobile , and attend training on a variety of topics such as health and hygiene, leadership and gender.

Protesters burn Chinese flag & Xi effigy in Uttar Pradesh after border standoff leaves at least 20 Indian troops dead (PHOTOS)
A group of Indian demonstrators set fire to a Chinese flag and burned an effigy of Chinese leader Xi Jinping. The event, organized by a local NGO, comes after the first fatal clash between China and India since 1975.
In a series of photos, posted by ANI, a group of demonstrators is seen torching an effigy which has a printed image of Chinese President Xi Jinping pinned to its ‘head.’ Another photo shows a man setting fire to a Chinese flag. Some of the demonstrators can be seen playing drums while others hold signs.
The protest was reportedly organized by Vishal Bharat Sansthan, a local NGO based in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

The demonstration follows a border clash between Indian and Chinese troops, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 Indian soldiers. Chinese state media has also reported casualties from the skirmish, but no official figures have been disclosed. The carnage marks the first time in decades that border disputes between China and India have resulted in fatalities.
For weeks, the two nations have been engaged in a tense standoff along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh, which is part of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
Chinese and Indian military officials met following the latest violence in an attempt to de-escalate the situation, according to media reports.

Don't really care about such ngos and welfare trusts because now i find all of them have dual standards but anyways something's we can't ignore .. Indians will never refrain, we are 70 years ahead being an independent nation but still slave of our stereotypes thoughts .. such bull fights .. cock rooster male chick fights and such animal abuse should be over from its roots. Not being discriminatory being saying something good by mentioning that our southern part is level ahead in terms of edu and literacy but still are backward unfortunately because of their thoughts when they still keep such low class rituals alive .. This isn't festive this isn't entertainment. If it is .. i would then love to see humans treating another human similar way and yeah they're doing.. please get out of such thoughts, these rituals should have died by time and we are went so far since and have to give up on such non sense things .. Not at all a source of enjoyment and being a lover of folklore rituals traditions i condemn such acts aren't something i can take it or consider as our desi ritual .. ni that's not our identity that's inhuman and against the laws of nature .. May the animals rule the world and special make the humans slave under them .. then only these monsters beneath the skin of so called humans will know what their ancestors for centuries and decades did to these animals .. Grow your abilities to sense and feel how and what these living being go through .. they aren't toys we play turn twist and give pain to .. Disturbing really.. you humans are fucking used to such things so you won't give a damn i know but may this break soon .. or someday before it's too late .. let them live and Stop misbehaving with them for sake of what you are known as ..
