When you go back and reread some of your own OFMD fic and the GOmens references slap you in the face

#…like a fish #this is both a Monty Python reference and a reference to the fact that I wrote a fishing AU #and also a GOmens book reference if you want to go there #i am quite happy in the GOmens fandom alright and the Aziraphale and Crowley energy of Stede and Ed #is what hit me very hard between the eyes at first #they’re distinct now but the things I just reflexively wrote in amuse me #no one says hell’s sake. no one says that. this is a GOmens relic.
