after speaking to Raphael about the Crown of Karsus, you can ask Luci why he doesn't seem interested in it, and he's like "because I don't have lava rocks for brains"
#OOC / HOLLY.#holly plays games#the real answer is ambition has oddly never been one of his flaws#despite that being so common among denizens of the Hells he's not possessed of it really#yes he's wanted promotions but not really for ambition's sake#what he truly wants is a sense of belonging; acceptance; and security#none of which you'll find in the Hells esp the higher you climb#but he's been targeted by others in the Hells for not being devilish enough. he's an outcast#promotion = no longer being an outcast. proving he's devil enough y'know#so when he meets Bean and Elfo who give him love; belonging; acceptance; security even when he does not deserve it#all the promotions in the Hells pale by comparison. being an archduke is nothing beside being their friend#the tadcrew potentially fall into this category as well at least some of them#it just depends how he bonds with them
