love how for a good while emesis blue makes you think of the red team as some merciless monsters who thrive on chasing their prey

until you realise they are a shallow image of their past selves trapped in eternal hell with a man who started it all while having no weapon to take him down and no way to find rest without external interference

they are still defensive but there's nothing left to defend

#emesis blue #ki rambles #the more i think of their role the sadder it gets. they all got the shortest end of the stick #Archibald is right fucking here in the same building and they ( sniper at least ) know what he did and yet they can't kill him #nor themselves. they'll just come back worse than before. every merc had -some- lever of self-consciousness and yet..#how many times had sniper heard that wretched call in the conference room?
