#ok i know these don't look all that special but the choruses on this song are fuckin massive#i really like pete loeffler's singing i think it's a big factor of why i like chevelle. both fun and really challenging to sing#i've often said that i believe them to be the underappreciated peak of second-wave post-grunge#which is admittedly as unimpressive as it sounds#anyway this record is pretty good especially for a band with so many albums over so much time#this was the lead single and it's about how science deniers are stupid dickheads who are ruining everything for everyone#not a first-time topic for chevelle either! if you dig this check out in debt to the earth <3#& grins back#*char noises*#char asks#talking pop
