Nope I'm not done talking about this. Eve is calm, collected, and above everything, they always win. Eve never feels fear, just mild annoyance. Tubbo, Bagi, Pierre and Bad were wailing on Eve with everything they had and Eve thought they were playing a prank because of how unserious the situation was to them. How unafraid they were, because they knew they were the biggest threat in the room, not the islanders. Eve does not get upper-handed. Eve does not lose.

Then we get to their confrontation with Cucurucho. Eve is pummeling their sibling to kingdom come, and vice versa. Eve is laughing, this is a game to them, maybe a little more, but what matters is they're feeling good. That's what Eve wants, stimulation, power. But something happens, Eve pops too many totems, doesn't pay attention to their health, didn't prepare, whatever it was that happened, it made Eve lose. The undefeatable was defeated. And for the first time since they first appeared, since they possessed Forever and began this tirade against the peace and safety of the island, they stop smiling. Eve's face drops in shock and doesn't pick back up. Eve loses, and it was so clear in that moment that Eve never expected to lose. Maybe they thought they never could. But they did. Its the first and only time we see Eve not in control.

Tubbo said it best, Eve went from being the biggest threat in the island to a speck of sand in the wake of the Federation's power. And I think in that moment, Eve truly felt it.
