Sooty laid a fucking monster of an egg again. Looking like she's gonna be a one-egger old lady! Hasn't had a two egg clutch for about half a year now
#pet pigeon#the great and mysterious sooty#i like to post about her old lady changes :) wondering if she'll hit 'henopause' earlier than most#seeing as most hens don't start one-egging until closer to 10 from what i've seen...#though bambi is seemingly hitting henopause already at 5#not entirely unsuspected given her wonky hips but...#poor girl has been brooding nothing on and off for the past few months. i've been giving her fake eggs to sit on and she appreciates that#still fostering babies out to her as well. she likes being a momma very much
