the way i really don't care about pairing order initially but at some point the more you read a certain order and it's made very clear the dynamic is more hinging on dubious consent and violence than anything else it absolutely never fails to weird me out because most of the time, the character in question never resorts to any of those methods or the violence in question was an accident or a one-time occurence but then, that's the same old "character ate cake once, so that's their personality now"
