Im glad most people (that im seeing at least) aren’t cutting the dev team any slack wrt their overdue response to the stalker plugin, i for one was willing to cut quite a bit of slack for a lot of the issues with this latest expac but not this, this specific issue with the account IDs and their response is probably the most doompilling “oh they actually do not give a shit about the playerbase anymore” thing to come out of DT from me 🥲

#more journaling #mind you on a personal level idgaf if my alts are out there and have always avoided fandom and talking to much people #so i never had a problem with stalkers but we all know at least one person who has and how depraved and insane the 14 playerbase can be #not to mention other swgments of the playerbase attaching their pet issues of disliking modbeasts to say the solution is anticheat when #anticheat wont do shit!! like im not against it just bc i mod it genuinely wont fix the root of the problem #and im tired of people pretending the problem and solution doesn’t all point back to SE’s i competant implementation of the new blacklist #i want to hold out hope they’re silently fixing it. but this entire expac’s really shaken my faith that the dev team cares enough #like i really dont like being so negative about xiv lately i love this game to death!! but come on.
