windrunnerrs replied to your post: wrathion literally out here saying he’s not gonna...
EVEN if he doesn’t do a lot in SL I really think they don’t plan to forget him for another 6 years aidhajhdksd
I think this makes it pretty obvious that they intend to use him, especially given they’ve been saying they want to bring the dragons back, the hinted dragon isles Wrathion is looking for, and the way they brought ALL the flights back in bfa (minus bronze?). It really does, uh, look like they want him leading whatever it is they plan to do with dragons and like I get it? It makes sense? Especially when you put it with this;
Ebonhorn’s reaction is just ‘damn shame there’s no black dragons to help!’ while Wrathion’s reaction is ‘I’m gonna help!’, which is an interesting take on their views overall. But again, when you also put it to this;
(We’re still not talking about how shit of a take on Alex this is). And to these;
And the fact his lines when you left click on him include;
“I must uphold my father’s legacy” and “The black dragon flight will be redeemed”.
It’s really, uh, leaning to Wrathion wanting to take a very active role in helping Azeroth AND the mortal races in a way dragons have failed to (rightly or wrongly) for quite a while now.
But it’s hard, because they really hammered Wrathion’s narrative as being about the LEGION in MoP, and then come the Legion expansion and we do not see him at all other than the deaths of Chromie thing. I think they probably, you know, won’t do that again? Especially how popular the shitty dragon has been now he’s fucking hot, but more so because they have been saying for a while they regret putting themselves in the position they are with dragons and want to find a way to make them relevant again. Wrathion is a really, really easy way to do that because he keeps saying that’s literally what he wants.
