Day 9: Mirror

Maybe Amelie was looking too much into it. Elisa probably only saw them as friends, right? She wasn't dumb, she knew how people looked at her as she grew up, the disgusted looks given to her scales when people thought she wasn't looking. Clearly Elisa could do better.

Amelie took a breath, calming her spiraling panic. She wouldn't know unless she tried. But how could she stand out? What could she do to impress her? She thought about Elisa's upcoming field study and remembered she still needed an escort. An idea springing to her mind, she grabbed her linkpearl.

"Father! Good, you answered. Listen, I need some help..."
