After the Grand opening @rocomamasaus last week and having some good food that I thought was not far off given it was opening night and busy, I decided to take the family back for take two . . Seems a downward slide from the other night. Burger patties dry and not juicy like opening night. Bacon rubbery and not crispy. Barely any cheese sauce on loaded fries or Nachos and ribs too much fat not rendered to eat comfortably . . First visit was add some seasoning to burgers, only a bit more fat rendering on ribs, coke too watery, burnt corn chips with gaucs too sour to mix with sour cream and serve waffles on something that doesn’t melt all over wood board and essentially you . . Tipping point this time when asked how meal was, softly mentioned burger buns too dry along with patties. The response was that they had just noticed grill was too high and turned it down. Followed by they hope we like the food better next time . . This was mid meal. Not cheap either. The first visit and the second. Bare minimal should have been to offer to redo . . So that means no more third time and highly recommend giving them a wide berth when it comes to getting what you paid for . . 🍔🍟🥓🧀 . . Can’t wait for @houstonsbbq to return in Jan.
