and as for cooking, they took it slow, asking me chop veggies, peel potatoes, make batters, I'm so glad my uncle understands my fear with sizzling oil and pressure cookers. He asked me to watch and learn, and had an ice cream as a reward ( princess treatment cause I'm the only daughter maternally ) so kinda uh enjoyed the cooking lesson though I'd never admit it to them.

I really should develop some hobbies at this point.... I'm just busy with my finals and university.. but in My free time I watch movies, help my family with chores, or play with children (there are so many children in and out my family) so I'll be out playing or I just watch YouTube to learn facts and knowledge.... this is what I do when I don't study at times... I study/write fics (I use to write before posting but they were deleted :') ) most of the time... and few months back, I went to a book fair so in my summer vacation I'll finish those books! And today I've a holiday as today's a festival but I've periods so my life is just ugh!🙂💔

Aww smiles... cold is really hard to bear with. Would you like it know what I do to cope up with cold? Honestly, I rarely ever treat it because that's something incurable. And sometimes it becomes so worse that pills don't work. Pills never even reduce the cold, in my pov. Like, everytime I took pills for cold, I fell asleep. That just projects that they make us fall asleep so we think our cold is reduced. In daytime, honestly I don't feel cold. It worsens at nights. That is also when I take pills. When I figured this out, I thought to do something that's effective. The only thing worked is, drinking "Haldi-doodh" or "turmeric latte" now this is simple, you know that yellow color powder made of turmeric wood, used in curries? Do you use it?😶 if not, that's okay.

So you mix turmeric powder (I think ¼ a table spoon?) with sugar (quantity of your choice) in hot milk and chug it down!! And drinking this builds immunity, reduces cold and etc ( more benefits which I don't recall atm) and you know those balms which minty flavour we use sometimes to apply on our throats and chest for cold?? Eg : Vicks Vaporub (I use taht) if not, let me know soon. You can use that for steaming yourself which definitely reduces cold. And this has to be done continuously day and night for effective result.

And avoid every cold item possible!! Stay warm, hydrated and healthy smiles!

ALSO! This is what you do when cold lasts for more than 8 days. Normal cold just goes away after 3-8 days.

hii noulli! I’m doing okay now! I took paracetamol (pills) every 4 hours and then before I went to bed I took cetirizine (antihistamine tablet). I woke up on comeback day feeling better hehe but thank you for sharing the tumeric latte recipe!

my mom uses tumeric for some of our dishes and she does tumeric tea sometimes too!

I’m so bad at staying away from cold stuff bc I love iced drinks and my water HAS to be cold 😭 but yeah, I think I got a cold that one night bc of over fatigue and lack of rest :’)
