giving the members just a year to fine tune their individual craft now seems so gimmicky in retrospect. and I know some members didn’t have a choice with that age cap for that new law, but even with that, there’s absolutely no satisfaction from this chapter even outside everything that hybe has pulled because their debuts were stacked ontop of each other with no room to breathe. it really didn’t feel like an opportunity to find themselves, more like an extended break where they just put out solo albums because they needed to.

#ntm my irritation at how with everything that jimin has shown he has to offer as a soloist is being put on the back burner #like chapter two was pointless if the end goal was just to get it over as quickly as possibly just to go back to the group #and have to churn out music again they already said they had no other stories to tell with #then you have two members who basically threw in the towel on making their own music or didn’t want to put out an album and just relax #and that should’ve been fine #but they did these albums out of an obligation to armys or the agenda of a ceo and look how they turned out #enlistment and hybe’s mishandling really screwed them
