male anatomy is pain... like why do you need all those ruffles and ridges for grading cheese??? like they can't just draw some sqiggles on piece of paper and tape it to their abdomen than they can have as many ruffles and ridges as they want 😭😭

i love expanding on galahd and Niflheim of course straying a wee bit from canon. because its more fun that way I’m a strong believer that canon is meant to be broken. i’ve been bouncing around with ideas for years and they rise and fall. 

i have 2 official fleshed out ffxv ocs but one kinda remains strong because she’s become literally apart of me, darn my love for firecracker oc’s. plus the idea of Cor being a literal dad warms my heart! even if he didn’t get much time with her

so Imma ramble, 

To cushion the angst Dad Cor would cry seeing his daughter take her first steps, her mimicking his facial expressions (espcially grumpy faces), her waiting for him to get back from his missions, falling alseep with his coat draped over her tiny body, her giving lil kisses on his frown lines because she thinks their owwies. Just Cor getting to be wholesome and loved because dammit he deserves it!

Dad cor gives me life and I think he deserves it a hundred percent, since my oc would be older than rest of Lucian kiddos she’d lead the pack....into trouble. lol

Her and Gladio would try to establish a pecking order, she’d win. Before Regis and his wife have kid(s) I imagine she’d be a favorite. trailing behind Regis’s wife and being a little princess. Even King Regis can’t shake her cuteness and the fact that she’s a spitting image of cor...just with curler hair on her head. Of course Cor has to demand to have his daughter back.

not angst, course stuff happens and she gets taken and she spends the rest of her life in  Niflheim. Without the love of her father and mother and really any warmth. Because the empire is a rough place.

Cor gets angry trying to find his sunshine, than quiet because he can’t find anything...and the warmth he had for his little monster now burns him with regret. How could he the Marshall... the immortal man.. how could he not save his little girl? She believed in him, he was her super hero and he let her down.. And now amount of counseling from his friends.. can change that. Everyone tried to help and offer their words but he just kept walking.. oh and this also caused issues with the woman he loved who birthed her so uh yeaaaahh

Bu~uut this way I get to play around with  Niflheim and touch a bit of Galahd. more straying from canon yay. Because I gotta knows more. and i do enjoy some good angst

working on some spidersona drawings and i'm laughing at thought of just how many times spideys have probably dropped their food from eating on the go and it lands on some poor unsuspecting pedestrian. r Or god forbid they lose their drink. lemonade and soda being the worst to have splashed on you because some spidey wasn't careful. or milk if your into that type of drink

that is until someone invents cups that are made espcially for clumsy spiders, unfortunately food can't be altered. a freshly made burrito plummeting to its doom or slice of pizza/hot dog taking the plunge. tragic. but its better than loosing a cell phone, not sure how well most phone cases will hold up from 22 stories up or higher. 🤣

honestly with all of the ai theft going around its getting really uncomfy posting original art or art that's really special to you. Like before artists already had to deal with art thieves from tracers, editors, big companies stealing your designs but with ai art thievery going around its ridiculous.

Like me personally I want to share my ocs and personal art but at the same time I won't because of whats been going on. And what blows my mind is that people can rationalize how ai stealing folks art is okay??

Like oh well i can't draw and with ai I can draw...nope nope i don't wanna hear it. because for all of us artists out there we had to grind for our craft, we had to put in time. Ai thievery isn't a skill or talent, you stealing jack... Its crazy how artists are being fired from their jobs and replaced my ai so companies can cut corners and not pay humans what their worth.

maybe its time for a change, their has to be a way for artists to post their work and be safe. an artists only website where to use the website you have to agree that you number one don't use ai art and you cannot steal someone else's art and if its found out that you do any of those offenses you are sued and you must pay the victims.

because don't think this mess with art theft and ai garbage is gonna pass unless their are penalties for it.

maybe artists should become secret societies or somethin, idk

i have literally drawn canon weiss maybe 3 times..now i see why. Its taken me longer to draw her eyes than its taken me to draw everything else for her TmT

oh to be able to disappear into the woods, living in adorable little cottage nestled deep within the forest. Having alittle garden behind it to grow herbs, veggies and fruit trees/bushes.

In the kitchen theired be a brick oven to make fresh bread every morning with a side of warm broccoli cheddar soup or chicken potato soup.

During noon grab sketchbook, dagger and basket of goodies, exploring the woods. Stumble upon a lake and setting up camp. Maybe be greeted by a deer or clumsy lil honey bee.

Once the sun starts to set packup and head back home. The cool dark nights would be perfect to spot fireflies, listen to the crickets, star gaze and enjoy nature.

Dinner would be leftover bread, with a side of meat and mash potatoes and gravy. Read Abit before sleep completely drags me off. Tucking in to bed would be magical, all snug in my bed of mostly pillows and blankets excited to start a new day again the next day.

Maybe the next day be greeted by a fellow cottage dweller who's come to trade their berries for baked goods. Or we go explore together and stumble upon a merchant who sells cute bottles and other strange knickknacks.

Be nice to live in a place where life is simple, soft, kind and exciting in the sense of what will you discover today.

realised now that I need to invest more in older ocs, characters that have been through some sheeze, characters that have scars more variety characters who are mature, reserved, deadly, morally questionable and can rock suits. maybe some shades and smirk, tattoos and facial hair nyx you did this 🤔

trying to complete two pages for next comic strip and hopefully drop some lore here soon.

I'm looking back over pages I've done so far and looks good, now to add more panels in so more to read.... drawing daytime sky gonna be a blast 👀✨✨
