okay so who was gonna tell me that navia shows up in neuvillette's sq to personally involve herself in his investigation and then coerce the accomplices of the main culprit to make themselves known to him in broad daylight so that he could question them. iconic behaviour and further proof that navia is fully aware of and sanctions some of the seedier behaviour within the spina considering she was that efficient with her investigation in the fleuve cendre

#* / character study ( navia. )#like yes navia is a ray of sunshine in terms of her personality but !! she is !! complex !!#she's very much representative of vigilante justice #whereas neuvillette is impartial and deliberately remained impartial even in the face of his friend standing trial #navia is the narrative foil who could not remain impartial even if she tried #obviously a lot of the spina's structure and regime are remnants from callas #and we know from her sq that navia does seek to reform it in part #but idk i just hate it when people brush her off as a wholesome do-gooder lmao #she wants to do good yes but she'll do so in the most chaotic way possible with little regard for the rules #anyway i really enjoyed that sq and ngl that end cutscene is probably one of my favourites from any sq i've done so far
